I wouldn't lend Bitcoin in this case since you need USD. Conversion into fiat (and then back again once you repay) just adds to your overall cost.

well, got the email from the insurance adjuster with the estimate... 4200 USD in repair costs. yeesh. and i thought the deductible at $1000 was a bad.

at this point i'm just waiting on the check to arrive so i can go start repairs.

and i still (kinda desperately) need the money. i'm increasing the interest rate offered to 15% and the repayment to BTC equivalent of $200 usd monthly (well, $50 weekly, honestly.) unless uber drops it's fares again that's well within my means.

i've also signed up with a couple other "service on demand" companes (postmates and taskrabbit) that i shouldn't have any trouble getting started with. that means more money, which means more repaid.

also, as of now marcotheminer hasn't decided if he's gonna loan me the 1 btc talked about a few posts ago.

I was thinking about going ahead, but then I read this. How would you pay back if price sky-rockets? I ask as someone who had a $20k debt when BTC was ~$10, and now have ~$500k in debt I probably won't be able to pay off before dying. You should probably go for a USD-denom loan with a bank, CU, or even WU/similar transfer.
