Lol, Smiley Do you have a trademark or anything on that?  Grin I could probably have Hal Finney's face come up instead of the Pop display but only if you hit like 100X your money, if that's an official request.  Tongue

I give it to you freely, bud, and there's no trademark. BTW, best register the domain before somebody else snatches it up.

Ok but I should reimburse you somehow. Smiley Post your in-game wallet and I'll send you 10 pops to go after the jackpot.  Cheesy

...and the domain is gone. Smiley

funny game, but the rules are not clear enough when visiting for the first time !

Maybe you should add a 'play money' option to try the game

#1 it looks like crap (on chrome)
#2 the game is not explained anywhere, it just has balloons and wants me to send BTC to an address
#3 the "about" section claims its the fairest game, yet there is no explanation why its fairer than other games or why its even fair in the first place.
#4 you use gmail for mails
#5 its oddly slow on firefox and does not look any better than it does on chrome
#6 its on NXT by default
#7 when I edit the available funds to play, the popped balloons are shown behind the other ones. The result is that you cant see whether you won or lost. And its odd in the first place that I have to modify your source to be able to test the game, see #2

#8 The jackpot is given in MB, most will probably understand this as Megabyte. I assume (!) you are looking for mBTC, µBTC or maybe MBTC (which I doubt).
#9 the "cash-out!" button results in an ugly popup that halts everything else I might want to within the same browserwindow (e.g. copy pasta my BTC address from my online wallet in another tab). It also gives no feedback whatsoever. "lolError?" is apparently an acceptable address or at least it does not complain.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

I guess MB means mBTC? I'd encourage you to use bits. Where you put the decimal place is quite important as it takes a lot of time before people internalize the value of different denomination, and few people want to learn how to convert between satoshis, bits, BTC and SI prefixed BTC.

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Wow, thanks for all the feedback! So your point is that it looks like crap on all browsers? (seems you singled out chrome and then said the same for firefox). It have seen it run like crap from a few locations. I agree with 2 and 3, needs work I suppose. What's wrong with gmails? The balloons float in front of the amounts won but if the game is running at the correct speed that should only happen for a split second. mBTC is what I intended for my MB.

I didn't realize the pop up prevented you from clicking another tab (that is kind of a pain).  It's true I'm not validating outgoing addresses. As I said, thanks for all the constructive feedback.

-snip-
So your point is that it looks like crap on all browsers? (seems you singled out chrome and then said the same for firefox).

Well, looks are a matter of taste. E.g. the part where the game is is not centered (or not properly stretched on all screen sizes) and the overall look and feel of the site feels cheap.

It have seen it run like crap from a few locations.

Same machine, chrome works fine and smooth, FF does not. Its even running smooth on an old 1GHz/1GB Ram laptop when using chrome. Not sure what the reason behind this is.

-snip-
What's wrong with gmails?

Well you apparently have a domain, why not use that? It just looks unprofessional.

The balloons float in front of the amounts won but if the game is running at the correct speed that should only happen for a split second.

True, but it would be better if its in front of the other balloons. Gamblers dont wana wait.

mBTC is what I intended for my MB.

It should at least be explained somewhere if not optional to be changed to something different. E.g. americans apparently like "bit".

I didn't realize the pop up prevented you from clicking another tab (that is kind of a pain).  It's true I'm not validating outgoing addresses. As I said, thanks for all the constructive feedback.

? So you popped 6 Balloons and determined from that, that you couldn't win anything? I can attest from the posts above that you can go up quite a bit.

The NXT house is down 7% so it must be paying out to someone. It's also unlikely but there's a ~1/50 chance of any one player completely running through the entire house fund. (at which point the game is dead). I told my wife when it launched that this was a possibility.

*looks something like this, (user starts with bet of 50), the exclamations represent a bonus game where all 10 balloons have value, user is able to pop 1785 balloons. (breaks the house)

s-MacBook-Air:satoshipop --$ python backend.py
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
turns = 1785
house = -10.9
User Money =561.4
mymo =0
max P value = 561.4
jackpot= 5003.0

I basically tweaked and tweaked away at the algorithm until I was able to create the highest P values (max total win) without ultimately draining the house. Having done that I still put it at risk by allowing for the possibility of a person to still 'beat the house'.
