Important Announcement:

GSI moved Pipshares from "coin" on to PIPSHARES "asset". This was done by moving on to the Bitcoin blockchain and Counterparty platform for financial assets.
PIPSHARES asset can be traded on Counterparty P2P exchange from the Counterwallet (http://counterwallet.io/). GSI provides a bid and ask walls to meet the current PIPSHARES price. The buy and sell walls are adjusted according to the PIPSHARES-FX account equity.

Moving on to PIPSHARES asset has several advantages over the traditional coin for us as well as for end-users.
- No more need to channel funds in to PIPSHARES related code development and security enchantment. All that work is done by Counterparty and Bitcoin development teams.
- PIPSHARES asset runs on the most actively developed, proven and secure Bitcoin protocol.
- No more need for 3rd party PIPSHARES exchange. Free P2P exchange from day one through Counterwallet. Unlimited trading market options for PIP. PIP can now be traded against any other asset or coin on Counterparty. Initially GSI only provides liquidity for trading against the BTC).
- Counterwallet supports BTC. No more need to transfer funds between wallets.
- Possibility to pay dividends in the future.
- Possibility to add extra PIPSHARES asset and increase PIPSHARES-FX tradable funds if there's a demand for it.

How to buy PIPSHARES?
First, visit CounterWallet.co and generate a free multi-wallet that holds BTC, XMP, PIPSHARES and anything else built on Bitcoin using the Counterparty protocol. With one click you'll generate a secure 12 word password, you'll want to keep it safe as it's your private key. Once you've created your password, log into your wallet and you'll see brand new bitcoin addresses you control. You can now send your BTC to your CounterWallet.
Once you have BTC ready on your CounterWallet click on the Exchange - Markets and type in the asset name: "PIPSHARES". Click on the BTC box right beside it. This will take you to PIPSHARES/BTC market.
You can now buy PIPSHARES with your Bitcoin.

What happens next?
GSI tranfers BTC gained from the PIPSHARES sell to BTC/EUR exchange where it will be exchanged to EUR and sent to PIPSHARES-FX trading account. This entire process takes about 3 days before invested funds are ready for trading. Each week a part of the PIPSHARES-FX profits is exchanged back to BTC and the BTC is used to provide liquidity for the PIPSHARES/BTC market.
PIPSHARES market price will change according to the PIPSHARES-FX trading account equity and BTC/EUR market price.

PIPSHARES started trading at 3.5EUR.
On the first week PIPSHARES price gained +8.945% which resulted in new PIP rates of : PIP/EUR: 3.8131   |   PIP/BTC: 0.0125
