quotient https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=854299.0

Heritage: probably SDC

Problems:

* NOTE: due to the PoW limit being a bit high (~0>>16, rather than the usual ~0>>20), there was some minor instamining for the first 60 blocks or so. However, mining didn't actually begin for over a minute after ANN, so doubtful that the founder exploited this
* VERY MINOR: Actual PoW coin supply is at most 1,615,536, probably about 5% or so less when factoring in PoS blocks mixed into it. This makes the premine slightly higher at around 1.0015%

Notes:

PoW limit is a bit high
good, genesis seed is a news event
good, checkpointed premine

Watermarks: uint64_t, pos, sdc-like

Appreciated! Thanks for your review.

Any reason why chrome blocks the wallet download as malware?

Just a false positive?

Can we get a virus total report?

And they were all okay? I am not a chrome user generally so I wasn't sure how accurate their warnings are.
Just seen that my snowballs wallet didn't trigger it.

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam

You might want to try windows 7 compatibility mode. I have used that to fix issues in Win 8 boxes in some cases

Backup your wallet etc etc (The stuff I am sure you are doing but I like to mention it for anyone else who reads.)

Usually the first pool always gets the cookies - and miners never ever move away from there as long it is not DDoS'ed, Forked or the Payout crons are hanging Smiley

I got you.
Let's see how many blocks we can burn through.

Edit: I'm getting 50% rejects!
Doesn't seem to happen on minerpools, though.

Nicehash ? Yes - should be same trouble on all pools after a while.

Nope, I've been mining in minerpools and decided to give you my hash.
Have 99% efficiency ATM there.

I found the root cause of the wallet issue we were seeing, will have update in github and new wallet build shortly.

It was quite hair pulling to zero in on, but a relatively simple fix once I narrowed it down.  The issue was with the implementation of CDiskBlockIndex, it inherits from CBlockIndex and has its own method to get the block hash, it was always generating a PoW hash for the block and storing that on disk, so the PoS blocks wouldn't read off the disk properly and recreate the in memory block tree properly.  I updated it to check the block type and generate and write the appropriate hash.
