Lottery Payment Feature is for future announcement item...

The miners are running

well you know who you can thank for this...  Cheesy seriously, you'll probably never know why this is so funny.

as to an issue related to antpool... i ventured over there to see what has changed in the last few month... wtf is lottery in the payment system. obviously pplns is quite self explanatory, but i have no idea how a lottery payment system works for payout. i get the general idea of a lottery, but as applicable to this particular scenario i'm left a little puzzled to the details. any idea if this function actually works and how much the "jackpot" is?

Bitmain,

Can you update us as to the problem?

Is it Ddos attacks again or something else.

Seems to me a fire caused main fiber-op cable to burn so they had to switch to satellite internet. Out of their control as it happened on property not theirs.

Currently ANTPOOL is not so stable, please set a backup pool or temporary use another pool!

hope to see you guys come back later!

I finally had to quit using this pool due to it dying too much. For now I have switched to f2pool as my primary. Will check back in a few months to see if this pool has been fixed and has reliable uptime. Good luck BITMAIN.

It is sad my miner's keep dying aswell.  Some find it alive and others dont after.

Please help Bitmain.

Sorry to hear that.  Hope you get it back soon.   Can you say if it is another attack?  Or is it have to do with internet as some suggested here.

no such thing as control.

but there is something called redundancy. for instance, mission critical DC's typically have multiple fiber connects at diverse points of entry to the building. so when some asshat cuts fiber in his yard or ________ you've already got the other connect you are using for load balancing or for hot backups.

shrug. hosting websites can't go down. seems bitcoin mining would fall into that category.

i need a new pool. was considering antpool. hrumph.

Problem is that it was the main line that burned. The supplier had no immediate plans to restore was the last that I heard. Their damn ISP has abandoned them.

That's the whole thing.... you need redundancy. With your redundant points of entry you have redundant fiber with redundant carriers typically the major telcos. Yeah, it ain't cheap, but it prevents exactly this from happening.

The redundancy in Booneyville China is satellite. Hell where I live, f fiber op went down I would be in the stone ages. My redundancy is dial up of satellite.

Accurate check of the pool up status be on your miner side and the antpool.com data to compare.

Currently, antpool is experiencing connection problems, please select a backup pool to avoid mining loss

we are sorry for the inconvenience

I'm seeing an increase workers but a lower hashrate from the pool as the days go by. Leaves me thinking of a myriad of what if's but nothing concrete. I wonder if the pool is being flooded by stales and rejects from poorly configured miners Huh

I've been back with them for the past 48 hours and things seem to be OK.  If this is bad, then I am looking forward to normal.
