Just to confirm, dead here too since yesterday.  Tried all 3 ports listed for Antpool and no good.  Showing "Socket connect failed: Connection refused" here but I can mine on other pools just fine.  3 emails in to 3 different addresses at Bitmain and only an autoreply saying volume is high and it might take a while.
Try mining at a pool where they'll actually help you out (and pay you more) Smiley
btw  "Socket connect failed: Connection refused"  is not a sign that a pool is down.......give your miner more time to run up.   My D3 is up within 3 minutes but my S-9 takes about 8-11 to get connected.....and you are right antpool is down.  I moved to slush.

I began mining BTC with Antpool in Dec’17 using the PPLNS reward method and daily payouts to my private wallet (Jaxx). Everything was fine until yesterday, when I found out that a single BTC transfer transaction from my wallet will cost me about 40% of the total earnings I made so far! This is about $450 for one single transaction fee!

It looks like the problem is due to the fact that I'm receiving small daily payments from Antpool, and this is significantly increasing the size of BTC block file in my private wallet... I wasn't able to find a way to change this payment period within the Antpool control panel. Any hint about this kind of issue?

You should remove your payout address from "payout" field in bitmain dashboard.
Then when you have enough BTC/BCH just add new address, wait for payout and then remove it.

Did you also see that the minimum payout was changed from .001 to .05 today? It will now take about month for an S9 to get a payout on antpool... I've got my kano acct set up, just trying to figure out where to put my payout address.

I don't understand why people mine on Antpool... I personally switched from Slush to Kano.

Antpool is now holding your rewards hostage! Damn.

How do you like kano?  I moved from antpool to slush.  Been doing okay for my 1st 2 weeks on slush pool but the earnings have dropped way down.  Is it due to the drop in price of bitcoin?

Switching to Kano seems like a no brainer. Specially from Antpool.

Trust me, you have to spend at least a month to get rewarded. And those rewards are huge. I've been on Slush since Nicehash went down, we were averaging 20 blocks a day at less than 1 Eh/s, but the pool has doubled in hash power within a month but mining 18 blocks on average. Or less!!! See here: https://btc.com/stats/pool/slushpool So our reward is cut in half, and some more... Check this screen shot I took around mid Dec last year. https://cloud.hello.mn/s/AM5uX0d7PzKbxpp Daily average of +0.003!!! And it was even better after that when TX fees were high. Like 0.004 for a single S9. Oh man... And no, our rewards doesn't change based on BTC price.

I moved 3 S9s from antpool to slush this afternoon. Your last stat of .003-.004 was slush or kano? You kinda lost me on that...

The GUI on antpool and slush is pretty nice, but I  have 2 more S9s coming and I am determined to figure out kano for at least one of them.

Screenshot is from Slush. Mid December when TX fees were at highest. You should be familiar with the UI if you have an account there... Slush is nice, they have mobile app, they send you notification if your miner goes down (but hours late) etc. The luxuries. But rewards are just... Getting horrible there.

Thats not that bad, on Slush its set to 0.1, imagine mining that with one S9...

Also switched to SlushPool three days ago, I know its been a short time, but its been rough, hoping for a change in luck, cause payouts for these 3 days have been quite below the average I was getting at AntPool. I want to stick around for a month and then compare the figures to see which one pays more. Friend of mine has a miner running on ViaBTC as well, so I'm checking the statistics for that also.

As I've stated, I have decided to switch pools to SlushPool three days ago, throughout my time on AntPool I kept all of the stats for my income and decided to share it with you guys.

30day Average HashrateAverage Daily Yield

Average TH/s per day isn't available for the first 4 days of mining.

Green is when I was mining BTC, purple was me mining BCH and converting it to BTC on the exchange, usually I did this as soon as I got the BCH transferred to my exchange(linked AntPool to pay it out directly to the exchange I use). My goal, as is of any miner, was to maximize BTC per day.

I was mining on AntPool with 3 S9's most of the time, on the evening of the 12th I hooked up another E9+ (9.5 TH/s), which just about compensated for the difficulty increase the next day.

I switched to SlushPool after reading these forums, and people giving a figure of AntPool paying about 20% less than Slush and Kano. Unfortunately the first full day mining on Slush (16.01) I got 0.00597, which is the second worst payout I've ever had, the worst came on the (07.01) due to dead ports on AntPool, and me averaging 38 TH/s. But as I've come to understand Slush has a lot more variability, so it was just probably unlucky to hit one of the worst days at the beginning.

Slush was really unlucky 3 days ago. It's finally making up for it today it seems. I switched from Slush to Kano just before these blocks hahahawawaawaaa...

Anyways, there'll be good days and bad days. Lately there's been too many bad days on Slush imo. But, even if Antpool paid more than Slush, I'd mine on Slush if Kano wasn't an option.
