As the owner posted here he stated that he already paid out all the backlogs happened recently so maybe this could be their total shutdown as they don't have anything to work with. Maybe for now its good to lock this thread so that there's no question regarding on what happen and other things un related to the discussion and to avoid un necessary spam which is not totally contributes to the discussion.

Anyways good luck Betbtc devs and hope to see this platform open in future if they decide to open back again their business.

well the BetBTC team have done well by publicizing all the steps towards the exit from the gambling space, there were few complaints on withdraw in the last few days I believe there take actions to withdraw they found before the website goes offline.

According to their announcement, they have officially closed on September 1. Already all the players have been able to withdraw all their funds without any problem. Yes, there will be complaints in some cases, but if those complaints are properly resolved then it must have been a good thing. Many gambling websites come online every day but most of them do not have this attitude. They had a large amount of funds in their hands, they returned it to their customers. So I want to take it as a positive attitude.

Any acts on returning their user funds is always been a positive attitude not just on closing their doors and locking users funds and wont have a chance for them to withdraw.
They had made out some announcement earlier about on the closure which you cant really make out any complaints in case you had past the due date on where this site totally closses.
You had been reminded and there would be no excuses because 1 week time frame should be enough to pull off your funds.

No update yet, but it´s been only 25 hours since I made my withdrawal so I am still hopeful it will happen. I made the withdrawal around 8PM 31st of August if going by Costa Rica time so I guess I just made the deadline.

Is was pure coincidence I noticed it on the 31st and not a few days later as I just returned from vacation. I hadn´t logged in since around August 1st before that.

On what they've said, you should be able to withdraw it immediately but if there's a delay with your withdrawal, I guess you're only waiting for the manual approval of their owners for your withdrawal request.

They did well clearing their back logs and if there will be still some last minute withdrawals and users that haven't taken their funds, it will be now depending on them now if they'll still give the last chance.

Look how generous this company is? imagine after making an announcement of no withdrawal will be entertained in end of August 31 , yet not letting all withdrawals to be processed day after that deadline?

And it didn't took long until BetBTC has given you guys a chance and consideration so I think that's already good enough on your end and there will be no more withdrawals as they've been generous enough to give some chance for those who have missed the exact date.

Really nice of you that you are trying your level best to let the users withdraw their money. Also i understand that you can't keep the site open forever, when you are closing the business, so there will be a deadline.

i don't think 10 BTC is too big, especially for a reputable gambling platform all the way from 2014. Of course investing in such is risk but with risk comes reward if all things go well.

Its just common sense that minimum withdrawal is 10BTC because no gambler would really be putting this amount on a gambling site for sure.

For sure this one talks about on the sale of such website but i dont think that someone will really be interested on buying it out and i would rather create

Is it only for domain or for all existing database? I have few connects who were looking for acquiring a casino though I doubt they will be able to afford 10 BTC for buying the site only. Looking forward. Will drop PM soon after I have got a confirmation from my connects.

I'm not really sure if they had loss or not although that's pretty obvious as you said but that doesn’t mean that someone else will have loss from the business. Changing some strategy would bring profit in the table. And 10 BTC isn’t quite high if you consider the domain name, the reputation it has built and the user they have on their platform. All together it may not be a huge amount.

I think that it would be better to invest such a big amount in a popular casino's bankroll for long-term profits instead.

^ But I think if the gambling casino is trusted just like this casino, they will return the fund to the players and the investors as well.
If you trust the casino, 10 BTC is worth it to invest and it has a good return at the right time, I saw gambling casinos that allow investors are their profit depended on the casino revenue. I remember Yolodice when there is someone invested there, after that they temporarily close the investing options until such day they declare of shutting down but right after they distributed the left fund from the investors and players.

I don't know how profitable a crypto business is, but selling it for less than half a million dollars, I think it's fair enough since they build their name for many years and they maintain their good reputation. Probably if the new owner will go for a more aggressive marketing strategy, they can make this site to be more profitable, and in just a few months or years, that ROI will be achieved.

In my opinion, this isn't a lot of money for a crypto casino with a good reputation and a great domain name. I have seen some domain names alone sell for much more than this. (List of most expensive domain names)
But I'm not an expert. Cryptocasinos can probably generate a large amount of revenue, but I'm not sure how much money has to be allocated to marketing, promotions, etc. It's possible that they ran out of liquid funds to continue operating, but that's just speculation. I do not believe they were at a loss. As some have mentioned, they may simply wish to pursue some other opportunities, much as the Yolodice owners did last year.
