Thanks for your extensive explaination. After I did some readings and research I will give it a try and take some HAMs into my portfolio.
The coin is almost one year old now. Are there real interesting radio station for using the coin in any way?
Well HAM is
over a year old now and we have many uses.
You can buy ham radios with it both on the cryptopia marketplace and hams buy and sell radio gear all the time both on air and at hamfests.
We also just supported a amateur radio group in Puerto Rico that took a hit from Tropical storm Erika with a donation campaign, this is something hams do regularly, hams are always in the background helping other hams and the community's they communicate with, especially when disasters occur anywhere in the world. We see HAM being used for donation among radio operators, If HAM is implemented for use as a donation tool only
growth is inevitable, being able to send a request for coins OTA "on the air" can be done now, in many different ways, but non hams may not fully understand how to do it. Lets say the people in Puerto Rico had the HAM system in place prior to the storm, funds could have been sent
immediately from other hams across the world wanting to help. Unfortunately the clubs did not have it in place yet, but we were still able to respond quickly buy doing it for them. Hopefully others will see the value in being able to send a HAM public address across the world via radio quickly
thus reducing the response time during a disaster or time of need. This is one of our primary focal points.
But we have some casino style games that use HAM and some fun things too. You may want to visit our website, forums, and even read thru this thread a little more the info is readily available with a little due diligence.
There are over 2 million hams world wide, so the key to success will be long term adoption of HAM over time.
Most hams don't read threads here at BCT they tend to be more word of mouth, Pun Intended...
We have a solid team made up of mostly radio operators donating time and skills to continuously advance the Growth of HAM.
If your looking for a get rich quick scheme or think we are a pump and dump crypto, you may be better served with the highly speculative coins
that pop up and disappear daily here on BCT. Slow and steady wins the race... Personally I think HamRadioCoin has been growing at the pace we expected from it's conception. will it quadruple in a week? Maybe not, but the trade spreads, arbitrage and increase in value have proven to be profitable for experienced crypto traders.
We will continue to add features that serve the amateur radio community as a whole. We also hope some crypto enthusiasts will find amateur
radio interesting and useful as a hobby and join in the hobby. Some radio people have also gotten into crypto because of HAM.
Give it a look over and kick the tires a little, you will see we are in this for the long haul, and growth is continuous...
Hope this answers your question.
If you would like to listen to some ham radios check out our page of online SDR radios, they are free to use.
http://www.hamradiocoin.com/sdr-receivers/You can even use software on PC's to decode the data signals you hear on our SDR's Weather, Airtraffic, a bunch of stuff, it's a little complicated but
the geeks around this place should be able to figure it out in short order.
