New Bitcointalk thread https://i.imgur.com/RPRYAoP.png Due to our initial PR member CryptoDustin stepping out of the project and the fact he had created initial Vaultcoin Community Takover Bitcointalk thread from his personal account, we had to create new thread so we could continue to update main ANN post. This thread is now continuation of original Vaultcoin Community Takeover thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=759051Community Takeover https://i.imgur.com/RPRYAoP.png First things first, the Vaultcoin Community Takover team would like to welcome you to the next stage in development! It has been 48 hours since our posted notice allowing the prevous developer to deny our community takeover. However, the dev has yet to post anything so we will continue on and take it over! The source has been updated and sent to exchange operators. Exchange operators will be updating their sources soon. The old thread can be viewed here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=726624.0. You can browse the repo here: https://github.com/haxmb/vaultcoin-takeover Latest developments https://i.imgur.com/RPRYAoP.png Thanks to rentodev's hard work the past 48 hours, we now have new nodes online and an updated mac wallet available for download. It should not be forgotten that we have now gotten our blockchain moving again thanks to the courtesy of our team! As for the PoS before, it required 2 days to mature your coins, and the rewards were disabled! We have since reduced the coin maturity time from 2 days down to a mere 8 hours. Staking rewards have also once again been enabled (stake away!). The team is working on a road map that will be posted soon. Also, please give the new twitter account a follow to stay up to date ( @TheVaultCoin), and join our IRC channel ( here).

Volume is large enough to not be delisted, but I've also contacted them. Also wrote them about new wallet release just to keep informed that soon they will need to update their wallets.

We're working on resolving the issue. It seems we compiled with 32bits while the version of libgcc was 64 bits. - haxmb

VERY nice work!!! Putting buy orders in already. I want to get the word out about vaultcoin and posted a nice article about it on my site that specializes is high pos coins: http://bitcoinlasvegas.net/category/highest-percent-proof-of-stake-coins/
|
I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Guys not able to sync new wallet. Here is my conf file. Place in roaming\Vaultcoin folder, Called it vaultcoin.conf (windows):
Can we get a bootstrap.dat on the op or a zipped version of latest blocks?
daemon=1 server=1 rpcuser=uSErnamE rpcpassword=P@sSword rpcport=20813 rpcconnect=127.0.0.* listen=1 addnode=37.252.122.26 addnode=178.62.13.46 addnode=37.139.28.32

Your rpcport is wrong, it should be 6996, but you don't need to include it. Nodes look fine, and you should connect perfectly fine. If after changing the rpcport the problem persists, could you show a log of "ping 37.252.122.26" ? - haxmb

Very good point! I have added a bootstrap.dat file in the release now. Download it here (md5: 13b6c51034ec6466c2297c2e46b8ac55). Just place it in your Roaming/Vaultcoin folder (Win) or Application Support/Vaultcoin (Mac) folder. If you open the client after that, it will use the bootstrap.dat file to update the blockchain to its current length, ±94000 blocks! Ofcourse, always check the md5 hash first! - haxmb
