I emailed this chart to family & friends when the price was $36.

Weekly close with a 3 month (quarterly) moving average.

http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#igWeeklyztgCza1gSMAzm1g13zm2g25

My old man (who I convinced to buy 1000 BTC at ~$8 and is still long) commented that he hadn't seen a chart like that since the start of the Clinton era bull run.

Why would someone be pressuring the price down right now? It is really as simple as someone running a bot that takes profits at 39.xx? Or is it someone purposely manipulating the price down for whatever reason? I'm so confused about the last 10 minutes.

I don't think a $2.50 breakout in an hour is standard, but i'd like it to be  Wink

Damn it. I need to watch the price more closely. I have an emergency sell order in place (just in case of a huge intraday spike followed by correction) but I'm starting to be unsure about its price. No harm done yet though.
