But if you sold hoping to jump back in at a lower price, and you haven't jumped, you've just made Gox and some other soul some money.
Guilty  Cry .
I am also wearing a dunce cap right now. The lesson for me is that day trading bitcoin may not be my strong suit. There has been a lot of volatility and I was not quick enough on the trigger to benefit. I've just been staring at the screen in bewilderment.

I get a dunce again as well.  My greed got the better of me and I tried to cash in again.  I got lucky this time and broke exactly even. Phew.

I think he just tries to be a troll artist, he clearly knows what he talks about, and based on his understanding of bitcoin he would not believe in the kind of bullshit in his previous articles, assuming they are the same person.

Well aside from this being the largest forking I've ever been involved with during knowing about BTC, it hasn't stopped some weak hands from cashing out.

Saw some HUGE sell orders go through but it appears the price has already recovered Wink

Edit.  Obligatory wall pic as of now (1:04am EST)

Oh Loaded, who art up in Mt. Gox, hallowed be thy name!  Thy dollars rain, thy will be done, on BTCUSD.  Give us this day our daily 10% 30%, and forgive the bears, as we have bought their bitcoins.  And lead us into quadruple digits

If, by the time I wake tomorrow, the price is still mid-$40s I'm gonna totally flip and sell everything I own for BTC.  You hear that cat?! The days of me scooping your litter are over! OVER!

it appears the main chain has overtaken the orphaned chain. doesn't that mean the problem is solved?
