My theory on the absence of a mini-crash the past 24 hours is that because of all the bubble bullshit in the media last week, many newcomers were anticipating a crash and planned on buying the dip. In previous crashes, newcomers had no memory of earlier crashes and were thus more afraid of heights. As long as people keep on saying Bitcoin is in a bubble, the chances and severity of crashes are reduced.

Bitcoin is a huge-ass-bubble.

Biggest bubble I've ever seen.   Wink

Bulls are those who believe an investment will go up, and buy it.

Bears are those who believe an investment will go down, and sell (or short) it.

Maybe a stupid question, but I can see the order book (current list of bids and asks) of MtGox, or do you need an account for that?

I know http://bitcoin.clarkmoody.com/ but I mean on the MtGox site itself?

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
