The US Dollar was not at risk of losing it's trust because of it. But But Bitcoin is. Guess what CNBC's Bitcoin story tomorrow will be?

How come the reported lag by all sites is raising if they are on cooldown?
Any thoughts on that?
My theory is that someone has placed many small ask orders without the funds and bids on the road down.When someone sells onto them the asks are recalculated.So this thing will not be over for hours.15min is not enough and they should investigate the suspicious orders. |

The cooldown should have happened far earlier... when it was lagging out for no reason whatsoever. |

We need ticker (and graphs) on the gox lag. It is important trading indicator. From my experience, it's not triggered up by large sells alone, but the DB locking during rapid order changes WHILE there are rapid price movements (in both directions). During sellout, the MtGox runs pretty fine. When there are opposite forces "fighting", it lags.

Sold at the absolute bottom of 95 >.<
Already have buy orders in for 85, 75, 65 ,55 if it even drops.

They waited FAR too long to do the cooldown. Should have happened after 10 minutes of lag. I can only imagine they were sleeping or staring in fear at computer screens frozen and panicing.
