Hi all, I'm just starting to collect small ammounts of different cryptocurrencies. And I wonder, is there any dashboard (site or app) in wich you assign the quantities of each cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Feathercoin, Ripple, and so on) you own, and it calculates an sumarizes the value in one currency (all in BTC, or all in USD...)?
If not, it would be nice.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Bravenewcoin is nice, but I agree with OP - a nice portfolio that could compile everything (like bitgo) would be awesome.

There are some aps for your mobile for this that can keep track of your portfolio and tell you how much they're worth individually and all together, but haven't used them ina while so don't know how up to date they are.

Thanks, coinreporting has some of the features I was looking for in the free version. But having to enter the amounts manually is not handy.
I was thinking of a list of public addresses and the use of the block explorer API to know how much of each coin you have. And then, convert them to one unique currency.

This is a standard feature of the Ripple client at rippletrade.com -- It dynamically calculates the total Ripple portfolio value in terms of any asset that you hold and also displays a nice circular chart showing the proportion of total portfolio value derived from each asset.

There are a few apps out there that enables the user to keep track of his cryptocurrencies holdings (I just forgot the name of that app). Yeah, a nice portfolio of those would be nice. Keeping track of your spending and profits is a nice way to control your crypto holdings.

I've searched some of the mentioned sites/apps in the comments. Are there any other apps out there that does just exactly the same as OP had mentioned?

http://www.coinreporting.com as mentioned above is a great site for keeping in depth track of trades, etc.. a bit difficult if you just want to keep an eye on daily portfolio value.

https://www.cryptofolio.info - very good for a more basic FIAT to coin value monitoring. Not sure how often the site gets updated but it lists a large number of coins.

I feel like a script wouldn't be too difficult to write for this function. (I don't have the expertise to do it tho)

..and what about storing all these crypto altcoins? what is the best place to keep them? sure you can have a separate wallet on windows for all of them but it takes a lot of space, synchronizing takes time and having access from only 1 pc does not seem good at all. i mean its good for bitcoin for large amounts because of security but like where to keep reddcoins from faucets? ;]
