Because there are always a few suckers who essentially bet on making a profit from even bigger suckers than themselves.
Given how foolish the paycoin crowd is, that might even be a reasonable bet, if it werent for garza&co cleaning out the buy orders every so often with their unlimited supply of XPY..
I don't know. I've seen a lot of pump and dump coins over the past 2 years and usually when something like this happens, the coin drops to a fraction of a penny as all insiders dump it all knowing the game is over. With XPY that has never happened. On every drop there has been massive buying. I just don't see that many traders and speculators with that much confidence in XPY given all the bad press and all the trolling. It's a risky bet here but if the price drops to .0011 again, I'm gonna sell something to average down. |

Its in a death spiral with bots pumping the price. Its not working anymore
Someone is trying to support the coin for sure but only with dust buys. The second anyone throws more than 100 XPY on the market its instant tankage
Edit: other than market manipulation is there any good reason people are buying fractions of a coin thats worth less than $1?
Some idiot just brought 660XPY or so to pump the market and about 120 coins sold later its hit a new low since the last major crash

All the XPY walls were broken down to 0.001 BTC and that's where it's headed since it now needs fresh buy's in order to support the sell pressure. Anyone in their right mind would never touch something that is continually making fresh lows like this and who has 100k XPY anyways to just dump on the market..
As price drops lower and lower eventually people follow suit and sell at a loss in order to make any money back, it puts it in a death spiral.

And should be WAY lower than Paycon because Paycon is the much better coin in MANY ways.
Paycon doesn´t need Hybrid Flex Proof of Reserve whatever- it´s rocking Proof of Facebook and Proof of Developer.
Crestington is an amazing dev.
Good question there's something we have not been able to see behind the smoke and mirrors yet. All will be revealed in good time though. Even Kim.com's MEC Megga coin is only at 4500 satoshi and he has a lot more market depth and a way smarter and richer guy behind it but still no use to these alt coins they havent done anything BTC can't the only reason why LTC is bit more popular is because China adopted it. So fuck your alt coins there's no reason for an alt coin to exist. yet.  |

Yay! props for me! I really have nothing against PayCoin TBH, I just had a good idea that PayCoin was going to tank and PayCon gives people more freedom as it had a fair distribution, no ICO and so all rewards are equal among holders, not to mention bad press for PayCoin makes it so easy to promote. If Josh ever left PayCoin that would be the end of it, Muddafudda already left PayCon and so I just took over where he left off. If I ever left PayCon then someone else could take it over too since there is no real leader in a decentralized and fairly distributed Coin. PayCon has it's own challenges (mainly lack of liquidity) but it's far better to have a small marketcap and work from there because you can take more risks trying new things and you aren't risking millions of dollars of other peoples money. |

And not only will they buy, they'll buy 13,000 at a time - with not the slightest fear about throwing 10 or 20 BTC at it or buying straight up the sell side of the order book. I guess people still have the idea that they'll be getting $20 per coin for them in the near future?
I've never seen any coin market act like this before.

Well they are partly correct, some of us are trying to attack paycoin, and others are simply trying to warn potential victims.
What they don't seem to realize is that the real enemy has been controlling the company from the start and this project had no chance of success even if Josh had the best of intentions.
You cannot have a centrally controlled currency like DGC, digicash, libertydollar, liberty reserve, paycoin, ziftr, ect.. without the legal arm of the state shutting everything down and seizing everything.
