Hey guys, I checked out the pastebin. It doesn't appear the messages are PGP signed... Doesn't that mean that someone could have just faked the entire conversation for the lulz?

Is there any reason to believe these messages are authentic? Serious question.

One of the people in the conversation has already confirmed it is real, check back one page. up about 4 posts  Roll Eyes

Haha, call me blind, but are you talking about the screenshot? Or is SDrebel ex-gaw? I haven't been keeping up with this monster thread, I've probably only read 200 pages here and there so my memory's kind of spotty.

Could you quote the proof post please?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg11050446#msg11050446

PaycoinGateway is the HT user posting the screenshot where his own chat with MrCEO is visible. Same as the pastebin.

Further in the HT thread he explicitly confirms the chat to be 100% real:

Fud

Favelle and rdwilde won't fall for this, they're buying more xpy!

Favelle is probably at the corner bar trying to sell some of his snakes to local drunks to get more cash to buy more XPY as we speak. That guy is all the way coo-coo for cocoa puffs Paycoin Cult now. The weird part about him was that in December when it could still be somewhat argued that this whole thing was not a giant scam(not succesfully- but...), he was on the fence. And now that it is completely evident to even the stupidest people that this is a scam he is now 100% in denial.

All of my posts are simply statements of my own personal opinions based on available information and pondering what might be possible considering human nature, with the goal of finding truth and preventing fraud. Please look at all of the facts and theories and put your thinking cap on to draw your own conclusions. If you feel that I have made a false statement or have been unnecessarily derogatory, I encourage you to please point it out, and if proven correct and/or reasonable I will remedy it. ~ Paul Revere

Man the people still buying aren't stupid, there's something much much worse wrong with them, like a lobotomy or something. They just keep giving Homero every last cent and Satoshi they have.

Serious question: Is there anybody who is able to explain what the plan was with XPY? I mean... money-printing, yes. But how could this ever have turned out well for anyone? Maybe some traders made some profit, but it seems nearly everybody who touched it regrets it - inclusive the founders.

So... what was the plan if it would have worked? How to get out without legal consequences?

BTCGAW.COM IS A SCAM! THEY DDOS'D ME, AND THREATENED TO SEND ME CHILD PORN IF I POST ABOUT THEM

I saw someone mention BTCGAW.com in this thread and I checked them out. I found out that they use one bitcoin address to fulfill all orders (notwithstanding the fact that real operations needs to know who sent what), and the coins are all unmoved at this address:

http://blockchain.info/address/16RiiW3wUMiid8eYXCvE8F1uj8WDUvuQUy

I, of course, didn't proceed. The scammer soon emailed me, and you can see our exchange here:

https://i.imgur.com/w5bvNb8.png

So I hopped on live chat, where the 'operator' threatened to DDoS me for "100 days" and "make orders to get you arrested" if I expose their scam on reddit/bitcointalk. He actually did DDoS my IP, but I hopped on a VPN in a few minute.

https://i.imgur.com/JAkxKuO.png

I was writing this post until I realized that I can probably get more material out of him. (He's very dumb, not realizing that he's not scaring me at all). He proceeded to purchase carded credit card details, and claims to have ordered child pornography and send it to my email:

https://i.imgur.com/DVoBAkz.png

That's the end of our conversation. Of course, if I do receive any child porn, I'll be reporting it directly to the relevant authorities. I don't think he thought his plan through.

CONCLUSION: BTCGAW.com is a scam site, owner is hilariously inadept.

Now these fucking idiots are critiquing Josh's Modus Operandi in this giant criminal scheme, giving him tips on how to be a better criminal so he can steal more from them without getting caught. I could not in a million years make this insane shit up. "Like Duh- Ya need to use encrypted cell when you are making plans to defraud us fucking chumps Josh, get with it, man"   Tongue

You might want to start a new thread in Scam Accusations and move this post there. You can then post a link in this thread. Otherwise this will get lost in hundreds of pages and might even get reported to mods as off-topic... aside from the similar name there isn't much in common it seems.

That is also an interesting point. I mean... if he would have made great profit out of XPY this bill shouldn't be a problem. I don't understand this whole XPY-story. It's very entertaining and like a course in "collective psychology" but I would like to find any rationality. But every detail seems irrational...

Right, but the power bill should have been paid from the maintenance fees collected from Hashlet customers. So that money was squandered elsewhere. Fail at basic business concepts.

Same thing with XPY. Total and utter fail at basic economic and financial concepts. You can't produce wealth by just wishing for it and a pyramid scheme can only get you so far. There is nothing rational about it, that's pretty much the point. A rational person doesn't talk to imaginary lawyers.

It was squandered into Josh's pockets. That has been the entire point of everything. Take money from rubes, give it to Josh. If talking to imaginary lawyers, buying websites or making new coins will convince rubes to give you money, you do it.

It's quite obvious that Josh's only skill is scamming. Wouldn't surprise if Debeloper Joe Mordica had a backdoor in the code to force Josh on his promises.

Nice find with the pastebin Suchmoon.

What i gather from all that is that the SEC subpoena demanded certain information, to which Josh did not give them everything. Josh is trying the threaten PCF to save his own arse. And his image in the "community". Lost prime controllers? More evidence of his ineptness.

I love how Josh keeps threatening them and all they keep saying is "go for it".

Josh: SEC will take everything!
PCF: let them
Josh: FBI will investigate us!
PCF: we have nothing to hide
Josh: my lawyers are now after you!
PCF: did we miss their call?
Josh: I am trying not to tell the public everything, but it's very hard. I'm thinking of you guys and the community.
PCF: should i publicly post for you?

Seems there is only one person here who is afraid of any consequences of everything going public. LOL

There does seem to be a certain confidence in the way they went forward... almost like they've already come to an agreement with the SEC and other agencies, so have no fear of investigation. But, given all the various ownership claims in that proposal... it seems josh lied to his attorney who must be very, very happy with josh right about now.
