we could try and push this due to the 9/11 charity fraud accusation, even better with the cantor link. good thing its mentioned in the civil lawsuit against garza/stu

it would need some attention (one liner would do) from reputable news source(s) to stick undeniably

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Justice is slow. And of course people want their money back, why wouldn't they. Whether they're gonna get it - that's another question but involving Cantor Fitzgerald into the class action may yield some sort of settlement.

Bingo Stingo!

The ENTIRE fraud was predicated on Stuart's involvement lending it credibility. Had Homero tried the same shit without being able to namedrop his sugar-daddy, the grandiose claims and promises he was making about launching with blue-chip companies on board would have been ridiculed from the get-go.

Trying to alert the mainstream media to this 9/11 'Hashlet' scandal is pointless if it is all coming from our corner of the web, though. They'll only pick it up and run with it if one of their own feeds them a simplified breakdown of the story.

By one of their own, I mean the kind of people who work in the Press Office of Cantor's competitors.

WARNING!!! Check your forum URLs carefully and avoid links to phishing sites like 'thebitcointalk' 'bitcointalk.to' and 'BitcointaLLk'

Idiots have lost money to scams here without ties to real companies like that, they would have done it with Uncle Stu, but it definitely helped a bit. People from this corner of the internet should be talking to "one of their own,' that's how things get done.

the clock is ticking though, we are 2 weeks away from me having to wait 11 more months to suggest the only wway that will work to get money back for these "victims."

Homero's having an aneurysm.

What a fucking idiot.

It's a gross miscarriage of justice that he is still walking the streets and has internet access. is still breathing.

Fixed it for you.

I thought America had plenty of guns.  How is he still alive after scamming people for so much money.  How hasnt he been shot by some poor bastard who lost his house/car/family due to this arsehole?

I hope it doesn't come to that. I'd rather see him mumble his way through a trial and live the rest of his life in a trailer park.

He won't mumble in court he'll accuse the judge of being a fudder and not knowing how blockchain works and how his coin functioned and that it wasn't him scamming but just a general failure. The judge will call elon musk to the witness box and elon will sort it all out saying that garzas patent trade to him was legit and he gave him a free car.

Carlos however will be in the corner scared the entire time because he doesn't understand.

I may be a little too bit of a conspiracy nut on this one, but I think the amount of money stolen has been greatly over exaggerated.

For starters, if you gave him 1 btc to buy hashlets, and by the end thought you had 2 btc worth of xpy/stakers/whatever was going on at the end, you really only lost 1 btc. It was gone the second you gave it to him and all the other numbers were imaginary.

Secondly, the people who were robbed are not acting the way i would if I was robbed, or that other people do when they are robbed. Forming companies with people in on the con, starting new things while ignoring the warnings that were given the first time, taking forever to file a suit/go to the authorities, zero PR push to pressure the one party involved in this that has money and a reputation to hellp make it right...

Even if you take the SEC numbers at face value (quoting from memory here but I think it was something like 10 thousand users, $20 million collected, $10 million paid out) it leaves ~$1000 average loss per bagholder. For most rational (yeah, I know, but bear with me here) people that's probably not enough to start shooting, so it's only the few "whales" that Homero should be concerned about. And of course Team XPY did an admirable job cooling his marks.

Speaking of the good pastor who allegedly sunk $500k into it and doesn't seem to be hunting Homero down just yet I think it's safe to say that the really big "whales" are either too tame, or don't reside in the US (Rashab [sp?]), or have some other reason to not want to inflict bodily harm.

Even if there is one it's probably not a good idea to discuss it on a forum like this Smiley
