Whenever this story crops up on the intertoobz around this time of year or recently on a "60 Minutes"
we always hear about this laszlo dude who sent the coins.
But what I want to know is who the hell was the lucky bastard pizza supplier who received them?
Never seems to be mentioned....

Well jercos took the bitcoin and ordered the pizzas for laszlo, presumably on his credit card.

It was a three-way tx. Laszlo sent the BTC to another Bitcoiner (in UK, IIRC).
Other Bitcoiner called in the pizza order, paid with traditional rails (e.g., credit card or similar).
Papa Johns delivered the pizzas to Laszlo's destination.

So the pizza supplier never saw the Bitcoin.

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

I've been convicted of heresy. Convicted by a mere known extortionist. Read my Trust for details.

Still works that way today, in most cases, with pizza purchased c/o gyft cards or E-Gifter.

Ah... thanx for that link, vee.
I rather doubt jercos is still hodeling 10000 bitcoins.
Anyway.... to get back on topic (and not be naughty and break the bitcointalk rules).....

Random thread bump from December 2014,(Thank you Paul...we miss you) right around the time when things got a bit comical,
that is, as long as you weren't one of those poor foolish investors losing their shirts.

News: XPY again available for only $20 direct from the Paycoin site! Get em while their hot GAWspell Believers!

Last night on the Tinychat session Josh remarked about "Selling all of the Paycoins they could @ $20 " and had to remove the offer . I asked him this:

I watched him read it and instantly smirk and start giggling uncontrollably. Seconds later he bailed from the conversation.

Sometimes it can be hard, even for a really professional and hardened Con-Man, to not laugh about the people he is fooling.

Garza v. Audet is getting pretty hilarious.  Anyone keeping on top of it?  https://www.docketbird.com/court-cases/Audet-et-al-v-Garza-et-al/ctd-3:2016-cv-00940

I like this one in particular.  https://www.docketbird.com/court-documents/Audet-et-al-v-Garza-et-al/Exhibit-10-Decl-of-T-Donelan/ctd-3:2016-cv-00940-00140-011

Shinners is funny. If you read his history he wanted to work for garza and proposed his payment wage etc and got knocked back. He’s as big a scumbag as garza. He got scammed big time and at the time hit back at the supposed trolls. He didnt go after josh garza and rolled to go after fraser for only 1 reason.... garza has no money but he thinks frasers can make him whole. i dont think he truely believes garza was a pawn and fraser the mastermind. he just wants his money back and will go after whoever can give it. he’d sue your grandmother if she was rich and had a slight connection to it.

Bwahahahaha! Amusing!
Quote
During the course of the Commission’s investigation into GAW Miners, various bank records and accounting records were produced to the Commission.  ZenMiner’s one bank account had extremely limited activity (transactions totaling $28), and it appears that ZenMiner did not maintain separate accounting records. "

I just sent you all my sMerits, unfortunately zero (0)  Tongue

Thanks for this. Shinners used to keep us informed... this is all news to me.

Defense is weak, yo. "...defense counsel needs a bit more information...."  Who says this?  They can't even get Shinners' name right!  Idiots.

Who says "yo"? Some 1990's thug wannabe? Dis be happenin', yo!

Shinners fucked everyone on the class action lawsuit. There is no chance of any monetary damage awards from anyone ever due to comments Shinners made at the Garza trial.
