PayCoin sounds a little close to PayPal in "lexical construction", didn't a bunch of companies get into trouble for using "iSomething" in the past couple of years?  I'm probably completely off track, not sure how TM works, I'm guessing the name was vetted by lawyers not to come in conflict with others in the same space having a similar name that could be mislead.

His highly skilled lawyers and his highly trained businessmen.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I think it's a deliberate stab at PayPal. He tweeted this a while ago:

I just think it's cute how anybody who doubts GAW in the slightest is labelled a "troll".

Sounds to me like an excuse somebody uses when they aren't intelligent enough to come up with a counter-argument.

Either way, the fact that GAW cheerleaders troll around bitcointalk trying to shoot down any reasonable discussion about the company just goes even further to show how much they want to censor all talk about this scam that isn't screaming at you to give Josh more money.

And anybody defending GAW is labelled a GAW employee, a shill, brainless follower, cultist and so on. Keep at it, the entertainment level is rising.

I'd say that GAW is in a gray area: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confusing_similarity

They're both a financial sector product, and the PayCoin logo appears to have a slight italics; like the official PayPal logo.

However, I doubt that PayPal will do anything unless PayCoin gains any kind of traction.

So where did the $48,000 USD come from if it is a zero sum game?

It came from someone buying your shares.  Your profit is all "on-paper" until you cash out.  Someone/people spent an extra $48,000 buying out your position, either with their fiat or "on-paper" money.  I didn't say you couldn't make "money" at this stock market game.  But... your sell positions are at the expense of someone with a buy position.

Quote
You can't explain that with your logic.  That money has simply just been created by the stock market.

This is where we will have to just disagree.  The money you cashed out for was paid for by someone else with their fiat or "on-paper" money from the market.  Don't you find it a little suspicious that when people slow down their investing in the market that stock values overall tend to decrease, and of course, vice-versa?  The market needs fresh fiat to keep the illusion of value propped up.

Quote
There is a very simple concept here that many don't get and it is the reason why we need something like bitcoin.    Fiat currency is just numbers, the money in your bank account is just numbers and the money in your paychecks is just numbers.   It only has value because we believe a government that it has value.   Stock markets change the numbers and the governments of the world back up those numbers and say they have value.

Ok, I'll play.  Take your exact same statement substitute in bitcoin, and explain to me why this isn't true:

Bitcoin currency is just numbers, the money in your bitcoin wallet is just numbers and the bitcoin in your miners generate is just numbers.   It only has value because we believe someone/thing says that it has value.   Bitcoin Exchanges change the numbers and the bitcoin-holders of the world back up those numbers and say they have value.

There are zero sum games, stocks markets aren't one of them.

A common misconception held by some is that the stock market is a zero-sum game. It isn’t, since investors may bid share prices up or down depending on numerous factors such as the economic outlook, profit forecasts and valuations, without a single share changing hands. Ultimately, the stock market is inextricably linked to the real economy, and both are powerful tools of wealth creation rather than zero-sum games.

The stock market isn't a zero-sum game because value can be added indefinitely. In the example you give, it's possible that the company actually has more assets than it did when the stock was acquired. Businesses can grow, and it's possible (although not likely) for everyone to come out ahead. In the big picture, this works because productivity increases, and more can be created with the same resources. Although there are losers in the stock market, there don't HAVE to be losers in the stock market.

Please ask that question again when PayCoin actually exists. There is no way to respond with something intelligent to this question when we don't know some basic facts and the environment is changing every few weeks.

Hashbase won't be exclusive.

I will need to ask developers how the migration will happen.

As of right now, Primes are the only confirmed Hashlet that can mine HC (PayCoin). If you are mining hashpoints at the moment you will be able to trade them in at a rate of 400 / 1 coin. With that said, it's almost a certainty that a new hashlet will mine Hashcoin in the near future. In addition, the coin is SHA and the possibility of home mining is very much in play.

I jave tried to sell there are so many for sale it looks worse than walmart on there special clearance day....do you want to buy them anyway this is just to warn others not to buy crap..

I also writing because there anouncements say nothing about how they using that 80% percent for there purposes, But everything is about the new coin and what they are planning to do and how they going to change the world and on and on....but yet there is no discussion about the problem of payouts and why they have to take off 80% . looks like they trying to distract everyone from there issues. Joe speaks about 10 mil there and 10 mil here. Well €3900.00 of that 10 mil is my investment.yet this month so far I have made $300 dollars on that investment. which is €239.23 euro... HAHAHAHA. I wonder why People still listen to that crap.

Yip they censor everything ...nsa

So i have my own miners 196 mh. I am in Ireland I pay 12 c for electric that is in euro. You pay 10 c in electric that is dollars. I have 200 ,h on zen and I paying 12 c in euro per kw make more money than than when you pay 10 c p/kw in dollars. I make on my miners 80% more than yours. So where does the 80% you take go to. So when I buy 200 mh of hashlets it costs me $2990.00 dollars . Out of that 200 MH you take 80% of my earnings. For 2990.00 dollars I bought l1 miners and I put a extra 300 dollars with an ordered 4. they pay me out 51 dollars a day my electric cost is 6 dollars a day. so lets do maths. 51.50 - 6 = $45 a day.

So all I can assume is you are a ponzi scheme. I have been banned 4 times from hashtalk from relaying this same idea. mmmm makes me think they dont want anyone to know.

Yes and then I can also say...why someone would buy into this....I made a fool of myself wasted my money. Please dont you also do it.

Why are you talking to yourself?  Did you forget to login with your puppet account?  Wink

EDIT:  After re-reading the poster's entries... I guess he/she's first language is not English... so the post and reply looked suspicious.  Carry on... nothing to see here.  Cheesy

To be fair, it goes both ways on here.  If you attempt to say anything positive about GAW/Zen/Josh/Hashpoints/Hashcoin... you get labeled and put on some person's "ignore list".
