I decided to take about 10k usd to speculate on bitcoin over the next year. However trading keeps me far too much glued to charts while i should be working so I decided I would do some swing trading with longer term goals. However I decided to invest into mining. Yes the risk huge but it has huge upside.

I bought 50 shares of www.dzminercoop.com prospero x-3 . I hope the name keeps its promise Smiley . To be honest I dont see much downside compared to the possible returns. Im looking to invest some more perhaps in the ant miner group buy. I know im going full out for a noob but I already made up my mind. I think im fairly safe and able to do it.

P.s. I hope I get accepted so I can post in the mining forum.

Seems like you've done some homework on your investment so you shouldn't worry much if you have faith in the investment.  I hope the mining works out for you in the long run and I wanna welcome you to the forum! Smiley

You seems confident about it anyway. A lot of people say it's too late to start mining bitcoin, but I don't think so. Good luck!

Be careful with mining coops.  It's still the wild west out there for BitCoin.  If you get ripped off, there's not much you can do.  May be better to invest in your own equipment and mine yourself.  It's not that difficult.

Everyone's personal experience differs from others.

If you have enough homework on mining. Please go ahead.

It is better you wouldn't have posted this idea here as you are very strong with your thoughts.

After reading several posts, your confidence level may dip. Don't worry, go ahead with your ideas.
