From what I gather, Joey is on a business trip in Asia at the moment but he will finish fixing the issues with the first testRep run when he has access to better internet capabilities....he should be back soon because he is on the last leg of his trip.  Once he resolves the address issues associated with the first testRep run, a second testRep run will be conducted.  When the second testRep run goes off without any issues, then the official Rep will be distributed.

no no, dont post your private key EVER in email
your suppose to go to the testnet block explorer and type in your PUBLIC key, and see if you have the test rep alloted into your account

Any hints or insights as to when an exchange will list reputation once it's distributed?  I'm pretty sure there will be a few that pick it up fairly quickly....but it'd be nice to have a few days between distribution and listing so that we can do some swapping before it goes live on an exchange.  That first day on an exchange is volatile....I plan on holding mine, but if I see a good shorting opportunity, I'd like to be in position to jump on it.

Why there is a deadline?? It seems not good, so the people who can't claim them before the deadline will lose the tokens in the future? It is  robbery. Augur ico happened in 2015, there must be many forget about the project, like ethereum case.

This is just a deadline to change your address if you have a different account in which you want the tokens to be sent. Everybody should have submitted an address already when they registered.  If you bought Rep with ether, the tokens will go to the account you bought in with and if you bought Rep with bitcoin, an account was created for you which provided the option to change your address when you verified your purchase last year.  This is just a deadline to CHANGE your preferred address.  We've been waiting a year!  There has to be a deadline set sometime!  <---  The longer it takes, the more likely it will be that people will forget their account credentials....right?

It's not augur's team fault .

Distribution of real REP tokens is scheduled for October 4. You have until October 3rd at noon US Eastern Time to make final changes, corrections or updates.

No. Dormant rep wont lose a %. Only dormant rep should be transferable so exchanges shouldn't be able to hold active rep (unless they activate it themselves - which would bring about reporting requirements and potentially liability - so doubtful they would). However, I think it can only be dormant for x period and then it becomes active. Maybe 6 months (3 reporting periods) or so.
