Yes. Augur is a very long term project which had crowdfunding in 2015, I can wait for the official launch petiently. The platform itself is a revolutionary product, it needs time to build the software, deployment, testing to ensure everything is OK, and then release. Current market cap rank is NO.10, looks very good.

Sorry, but i advise you don't be so optimist. Do you calculating all this system? I mean do you chek their business model and ask yourself if that idea will work? It's very useful habit for doing business.

I am very optimistic on this project because I am one of the translator who helped this project before crowdfunding, I am also Krug's LinkedIn connection, he is a genius dev, he raised 5M usd from Augur, and he manages and spends the fund of development and marketing well. He can be fully trustful. That is why I am devoted to this project.

Augur project has a successful crowdsale campaign but with all the hype that surrounds the project little has been achieved so far, I tried the platform it seems slow, someone told me that Gnosis is going to solve most problem in Augur. I know most of these projects are trying but only few of them will truly succeed.

Always have been wanting to try this service out and I think now is the time.
And With shapshift support enabled it gives me a chance to finally get into other coins other than bitcoin to start to use on a daily basis.

If I understand correctly people will be playing with ETH not Aug?

I would recommend if it's not already an option allowing people to bet with REP and to offer a slight discount over ETH for doing so.

The reasoning is that if the majority of demand is driven through the limited REP token it will make it MUCH more valuable than just the fees it will extract from the prediction market .
