Code:
me@host:~$ bitcoind -daemon
me@host:~$ tail -f .bitcoin/debug.log

and stare...

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Would love to but I sent all mine to that nice African prince who's been emailing me, in exchange for his kingdom.
He said shipping would only be 3-4 days but I guess there must have been some hold up, I'll wait another few days.

OP, I feel for ya, I don't have your condition yet, but I'm working whole heartedly on catching it.

My uncle is a fiat millionaire. He's a little bit concerned that I'm more motivated about amassing Bitcoin wealth than paper money. He's still trying to convince me that inflationary papers have more value than cryptographically signed bytes.

Be sure to let him know that portfolio diversification is not necessarily a bad thing, although I'm sure he would know that already.

Yes he know that but I had to teach him how to use an iPad. The Bitcoin concept sounds like technological voodo in his ears.
