WePayBTC.com - highest profits for our miners

Revolutionary new algorithm-switching multipool. Flat rate daily payouts in Bitcoin.

* We offer predictable payouts in Bitcoin. Our pool works with “Pay Per Speed” scheme (similar to “Pay Per Share”, but adopted for multialgorithm pools). So you know how much you’re going to earn today before even starting to mine.

* Our mining software automatically switches not only to the most profitable coin, but also to the most profitable algorithm. Five algorithms (X11, X13, …) are supported currently. The additional flexibility of switching algorithm on the fly gives miners extra profit.

* Our mining software is manually tweaked for the best performance possible. You no longer need to tweak various parameters and install different versions of AMD drivers. Everything works straight out of the box and it works fast!

* We have five geographically distributed stratum pools (San Francisco, New York, Singapore, Amsterdam and London) for lowest latency and extra stability.

* We have a dedicated support portal

* We perform payouts 3 times per day

* We support all AMD videocards! See the full list of supported hardware here. Notice: NVidia and CPU miners are not supported.

Come and join us today! See the Quick Start section for details.

Guide for using BAMT with WePayBTC

BAMT is a very simple plug'n'play Linux distribution (Debian based) which is tailored to do only one thing: mine altcoins.
It boots directly from a USB stick (4GB or more), so you don't need to do any setup, just boot and mine.
See https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2924.0

We used Litecoin BAMT 1.6.2 "R9 Series (Catalyst 13.12)" in this guide.

Disclaimer: We tried to make it as simple as possible. But if you run into any problems - please log a ticket on our support site and provide details.

Here are the steps:

Part 1 (preparation)

1. Prepare a BAMT 1.6.2 USB stick or use existing. How to do this is outside of this guide, check the BAMT thread for instructions.
2. Boot BAMT.
3. If you are If you are using remote desktop into your BAMT, login:
https://i.imgur.com/ZX9OLFP.png
User: user
Login: live

(If you are doing this locally, obviously skip this step)

4. Once you see the desktop, go to bottom left corner and click on "BAMT Control \ Stop mining sessions".
https://i.imgur.com/K47WawW.png

5. Now in left top corner of Desktop, double-click on "Root Terminal". You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/SSOaUpm.png

Part 2 (updating sgminer)

6. Type the following text and press ENTER:
Code:
cd /opt/miners/sgminer-4.1.0-sph/
You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/XqMwdsR.png

7. Type the following text and press ENTER:
Code:
git config remote.origin.url https://github.com/WePayBTC/sgminer7

You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/IPSSxoA.png

8. Type the following text and press ENTER:
Code:
git pull
You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/7wzlQvk.png

If you are asked for login / password or shown an error, please make sure that you typed the address correctly in step 8.

9. Type the following text and press ENTER:
Code:
./autogen.sh
You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/vUtbDXJ.png
and a few more lines. This takes a few minutes.

10. Type the following text and press ENTER:
Code:
make
You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/tVV1CGY.png
This also takes a few minutes.

11. Close the "Root Terminal", we no longer need it [optional step]

Part 3 (modifying your configuration file)

12.1 Double click on "File Manager" in top left corner of the desktop.
12.2 Click on "bamt"
12.3 Double click "sgminer-sph.conf"
https://i.imgur.com/Pr5uSG9.png

13. Modify your sgminer configuration file. The most important items are highlighted below:
https://i.imgur.com/ixXA3MG.png

Obviously use your BTC or DRK address, not the one on the screenshot and provide your correct email address as password.

This config file is a lot simpler than the default config. That is how it is supposed to be.

Default value (if you do not specify intensity explicitly) is intensity 20, which should be good for most videocards.
Higher intensity values require more RAM on the videocard. Intensity 20 requires 512MB, intensity 21 requires 1GB, 2GB for intensity 22 and so on. If you have an old videocard, like 6950, you would need to set intensity lower to 18 (128MB GPU RAM) or 19 (256MB GPU RAM).

14. Save the file and close text editor.

Part 5 (modifying your bamt conf file)

15. Double click bamt.conf in File Manager and make the changes as per screenshot below
https://i.imgur.com/E3D3pvC.png

16. Save the file and close text editor.

Part 6 (testing and tweaking)

17. Select "BAMT Control \ Start mining sessions"
https://i.imgur.com/BrMkQWI.png

Theoretically, you are done! All steps below are optional, but highly recommended.

18. Let's see if sgminer is working correctly. Start Root Terminal again. Type this and then ENTER:
Code:
sudo su

Now type this and ENTER:
Code:
screen -ls

19. See what computer prints after your previous command.
Now type below text, but change ID to match the otput of your "screen -ls" in previous step. The number before ".sgminer" text will always be different. That is normal.
https://i.imgur.com/RzQY5vX.png

Note: if after "screen -ls" you don't get any sgminer listed, then something is wrong and your sgminer could not start. Usually this happens because you did miss one comma in sgminer-sph.conf. If you have troubles at this point and you verified your sgminer-sph.conf is correct, ask for help in this thread.

20. You should now see sgminer output similar to this:
https://i.imgur.com/tmycbW7.png

Double-check that your login name is correct and pool is accepting shares from you.

21. [Optional] Now you might want to overclock your GPU a bit to achieve better speed.

Modify your sgminer-sph.conf and include "gpu-engine" and "gpu-memclock" values.
These values heavily depend on your hardware and it will take awhile until you find your best values. If you overclock too much, you'll get a crash / freeze either in a few minutes or in a few hours.
You might want to search on miner forums for good values. Adding about 10%-20% to your stock frequency is a good start.

For example:
https://i.imgur.com/6QDM1o4.png

22. You can monitor your rig by typing in your rig's IP address in browser:
https://i.imgur.com/UnrVkH4.png

***

Finally, here are the .conf files from steps 12 and 15 in case you want to use them without editing them manually. You can just open them in your BAMT web browser (IceWeasel):

Guide for using PIMP with WePayBTC

PIMP is a very simple plug'n'play Linux distribution (Debian based) and is a successor of BAMT. It has some nice functions that BAMT lacks.
It boots directly from a USB stick (4GB or more), so you don't need to do any setup, just boot and mine.
See http://www.getpimp.org/

We used PIMP 1.6.0 AMD-14.6 in this guide.

Disclaimer: We tried to make it as simple as possible. But if you run into any problems - please log a ticket on our support site and provide details.

Prepare a PIMP USB stick or use existing. How to do this is outside of this guide, check the BAMT thread for instructions.
Boot PIMP. If you are If you are using remote desktop into your PIMP, password is "live".

Here are the steps:

1. Double-click on "Root Terminal". You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/NEEE7Py.png

2. Type the following text and press ENTER:
Code:
cd /opt

3. Type the following text and press ENTER:
Code:
git clone https://github.com/WePayBTC/sgminer7

4. Now you need to copy 3 files from ADL-SDK in /opt folder into ASL_SDK in /sgminer7/ADL_SDK. You can do it visually in file manager or with this terminal command:
Code:
cp ADL-SDK/*.h sgminer7/ADL_SDK
Note: if you don’t do this step, hardware monitoring will not work

You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/CgRWjLp.png

5. Go to sgminer7 folder in terminal.
Code:
cd sgminer7
6. Run
Code:
./autogen.sh

You should see this:
https://i.imgur.com/5Rx0VwY.png

7. Run config:
Code:
CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure
https://i.imgur.com/YUKg3zv.png

8. Make the binary:
Code:
make
https://i.imgur.com/o7WR0TL.png

9. [Optional] remove debug info from binary:
Code:
strip sgminer
https://i.imgur.com/h2kDb7V.png

10. We’re going to reuse an existing pool manager profile, because creating a new profile is more complicated. We’ll use “Jackpot” Profile for WePayBTC.
11. Copy WePayBTC sgminer to Jackpot sgminer folder:
Code:
cp sgminer ../sgminer-jackpot

12. Copy BIN files and data.dat to /opt/ifmi/. This is a very important step. Sgminer reads these files from current folder upon startup. In PIMP, the “current folder” is /opt/ifmi.
Code:
cp *.bin /opt/ifmi/
Code:
cp data.dat /opt/ifmi/

https://i.imgur.com/MByoYB4.png

13. Close terminal, we no longer need it
14. Go to web interface, select “Jackpot” profile and click on “Miner” button.
https://i.imgur.com/IQmwBCA.png

15. Click on config filename.
https://i.imgur.com/FAEW31W.png

16. Fill in the values similar to the below screenshot. Type in server name (sf, ny, am, lo, si), your BTC wallet address and your email.
17.   Type in Root Password (“live”) at the bottom of the page and press “Save”
https://i.imgur.com/ApW8gq9.png

18.   You should be good to go. Press “Start”.
https://i.imgur.com/iDahA4x.png

Troubleshooting.
Run terminal. List all screens:
Code:
screen –ls
https://i.imgur.com/cMQVjIr.png

Resume the sgminer’s screen.
Code:
screen –r XXX.PM-miner
, where XXX is the process id (always different) that you got from previous
Code:
screen –ls
https://i.imgur.com/1BImaK4.png

You’ll see a familiar sgminer screen and error(s) if any. Most common error: you did not copy *.bin and data.dat or you did not edit the config file properly.

If you can’t figure it out – please raise a support ticket and provide as much info as possible. We’ll be glad to help!
