Hi fitinplace

Jumbucks is currently 100% proof of stake (PoS). JBS launched in September 2014 with a PoW phase of 31,000 blocks, then swapping to 100% PoS with a reward of 8%, it will step down to 5% in September 2016, and then to 2% in September 2024.

The average reward per block when staking JBS will vary from user to user due to how PoS works. It is calculated based on the PoS reward (8%) of the coin staked, over the period in which it has been accumulating stake weight/coin age, with a maximum cap of 4 JBS (currently).

You can get a pretty good idea of rewards by looking at a block explorer. For example this address has ~10.5k JBS: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/jbs/address.dws?10481.htm and looks to be averaging ~0.2jbs for each reward.

We have no fixed supply cap in the PoW sense. Supply right now is ~3,471,437 JBS, up from 3,293,010 JBS (end of PoW phase), an increase of a little over 5%. The rate at which this increases is controlled by a number of factors; As the PoS % reward steps down, the supply will increase less. As the supply becomes more distributed (more users staking less coins each) the supply will also increase less etc.

Jumbucks is proud to now also be listed on Cryptopia exchange based out of New Zealand!

Cryptopia loved Jumbucks so much that we were able to bypass the voting process and were immediately added!

You can find the market here: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=JBS_BTC

I also donated 1000 JBS to the Cryptopia giveaway faucet.  https://twitter.com/jyap/status/663299958297104384

Hi,

Some updates.

Jumbucks Coin Bot

Jumbucks Coin Bot is a new Twitter bot I coded up which monitors coin additions for Bittrex Exchange, C-CEX, Poloniex and Yobit Exchange! Tell your homies! It was launched a couple of weeks ago and currently has 242 followers.

https://twitter.com/jbscoinbot

Jumbucks on Cryptsy status

Cryptsy exchange lists Jumbucks but the wallet has been in an offline maintenance state for the past few months. It recently changed from offline maintenance status to apparently working state. Test withdrawals of JBS however have not been successful and remain in Pending state.  This is the same case for most coins (including Bitcoin) on Cryptsy as they also exhibit coin withdrawal issues.

Jumbucks recommends trading JBS on Bittrex and Cryptopia.

Jumbucks multipool

The Jumbucks multipool run by https://twitter.com/IcarusGlider was shut down a few months ago.

Here is the announcement tweet from Mica.

https://twitter.com/IcarusGlider/status/633299959404724224

Jumbucks Twitter tip bot

The Jumbucks Twitter tip bot run by the Pinkcoin developers was unfortunately shut down and has not been running for a few months.

Please request a withdrawal by logging into http://cosmiclottery.com using Twitter to view your balance.  A withdrawal request can then be made.

A tweet will then be sent out that looks like this:
https://twitter.com/cryptokrill/status/673438505628864512

"I would like to request that my 4,432.800 XJB be sent to: JTxGPSfNuSmxjPXg7fbWBCrv2YVzUBbQyN http://cosmiclottery.com/  via @pinkcoinlottery"

Jumbucks Fantasy Football - 2015 NFL Season Wrap Up

We are excited to announce the champion of the first ever Jumbucks Fantasy Football league, the Mt. Gox Frappacinos! Overall the league was a resounding success, delivering fierce competition and a great involvement rate even through the end of the season.

The Mt. Gox Frappacinos were a strong contender for the victor’s purse since the beginning of the season, with their roster anchored by Adrian Peterson and Tom Brady, and shored up each week by numerous smart waivers and trades.  The Frappacino’s further cemented their dominance by finishing the regular season as the highest scoring team!

Ketamine Milkshakes secured the league’s second place spot, with a team anchored by Antonio Brown and Andy Dalton. While they exited the draft with a shortage of top-tier players, the Katamine Milkshakes fought skillfully all season long and were rewarded with the second place prize.

Bombaklots are our league’s third place winners. Following an excellent rating in the draft, several all star players performed below expectations, forcing the Bombaklots to remain flexible and adapt their lineup throughout the season.

Over 14,000 Jumbucks [JBS] were paid out in championship purses, funded through player entry fees, donations from the Jumbucks development team, and donations from our community on Slack.getjumbucks.com.

Congrats to the winners of our first annual Jumbucks Fantasy Football league, and thank you to all our participants for a great season! Happy New Years, everybody. #Jumbucks.

Closing Statement from Saintgermaine:

Congrats on the first annual Jumbucks fantasy football season. It was a solid season. Pretty much everyone stayed active till the end. Mt Gox Frappacinos took home the championship. All season long the Frap's were at the top of the power ranks, anchored by Adrian Peterson and Tom Brady the Frap's made some good waiver moves and trades. He finished the regular season as the top scorer as well so its good to see the highest scoring team get the Scrilla $ he deserves. Ketamine milkskshakes finished in second place his team was anchored by Antonio Brown and Andy Dalton, he basically had no top tier RB after the draft but continued to hold on to D.Johnson of Arizona, and picked up James white New England, to finish strong, and had a very productive season despite not having to many all star caliber players. Bombaklots finished 3rd and scored well most the season, he looked like the top dog after the draft but CJ Anderson, Demarco Murray, and Carlos Hyde did not trurn out to be the dominant RB's that could be counted on all season long. Well it was a fun season thanks again for those that donated to the prize pool. I will message the winners on how to collect their winings and you should be paid in the next 24-48 hours....Fomo Jumbucks while you can. Peace out till next year.

Closing Statement from Xocel:

Would like to thank everyone that participated in the JBS fantasy football league. By the end of the season the prize pool had grown to 12,315 JBS plus an additional 3,365 JBS from @saintgermaines bonus stake for first place. @chocobo won the season and just walked away with a very nice stash of JBS (11.3k). @dirtyboots77 claimed 2nd place (taking 3k JBS home) and @saintgermaine came in 3rd (1.2k JBS). Congratulations! payouts have been sent. I'm looking forward to doing more of this type of thing in the future  Smiley

Hi

Thanks for checking in.

The pull request has been merged and you can now successfully deploy a Jumbucks node on Microsoft's Azure platform with 1 click.  Below are some screen shots which show a successful deployment.

Here is the Github link:
https://github.com/Azure/azure-quickstart-templates/tree/master/jumbucks-blockchain-ubuntu

We will be pursuing having Jumbucks added to the Azure Blockchain as a Service partner program.

Thanks,
Julian
