Use a good indicator and stick with it.

Here is my best overnight strategy, set buy order lower than you think the market can drop. If it does drop that much then you are doing good, but if it doesn't drop that much you wake to a pump on your buy

Right, trading is fXXXing miserable, I can't sleep well unless I earn a lot or lose all of my money.

Mine is simple and the best. Buy low, wait, sell high.  Tongue

For extra I do day trading when there is panic making the price swing up and down.

Don't force yourself to trade that much, take some distance from time to time.

This is a great start: For extra fun, go "all in" and "all out" on fast moves where the market will 'obviously' turn around.   Grin

I've been reading up on Bogleheads on value averaging and dollar cost averaging (see DCA or VA).

I'm tired of trying to time peaks and throughs  Cry. Some comments from people using these (or other?) more long-term approaches to investing in bitcoin Huh. Much appreciated!

My strategy is to buy low and sell high, IF you want to know how I accomplish that, I buy, then sell when I feel the price is going to give me the most kick back and most profit.   Its all a guessing game.

Is it really a guessing game when we are talking about Bitcoin? After all, if we follow the media attention Bitcoin is getting we can have a pretty good idea of the general psychology of the average trader.
