I am putting up for sale; 2 x Spondoolies SP30 Yukon August and September batch, advertised 4.5THs each. Their advertised power draw is 3000W each and I will seriously considers any offers above 3BTC each (I suspect I will be offered more).

I will be considering offers till the end of the month (next weekend) and hope to transfer ownership of the h/w on or before Monday, 1st December 2014. I am based in Sydney, Australia, please consider time difference.

Feel free to post your interest in the thread.

Cheers,
QG

PS: Package details each:
Total shipment weight   41.5 lbs / 18.82 kgs
Dimensions   28x22x7 in.

Price -
I worked out my price by estimating what the machine will make in 3 months excluding operating cost (~3.2btc and I rounded down). I've had offers from 3.25btc to 4.5btc for each unit. The 4.5btc offer is very appealing. This deal could be done before next weekend. Feel free to offer below or over 4.5btc as price may not be deciding factor on the sale. Factors like your profile age, past trades, shipping or continued hosting will effect who I decide to sell to. I am looking for a simple and effortless trade. Happy to sell units separately, makes no difference to me.

Reason -
My reason for the sale is simple; Mining is dead for small ops (long dead). Take your rebuttals to another thread Smiley

Sale Process (Shipping) -
If you want the unit shipped, the deal will go down like this. Buyer pays escrow, I immediately direct the hashing unit to a nominated pool of the buyers choice. Next, I will instruct the hosting provider to ship the unit before 1st Dec (new month for hosting fees). Once the buyer receives the h/w, escrow to be release to 11QG11uNjtc8KjAQJHcKhdds5yT1JZAd8

Sale Process (Hosted) -
If you want the unit to continue hosting with the current hosting provider, this will be the easiest method. Buyer pays escrow, I immediately send IP and admin access details to buyer and I will inform the hosting provider of the new owner. Escrow is released to 11QG11uNjtc8KjAQJHcKhdds5yT1JZAd8 .

Escrow -
Escrow is optional. If required, I prefer using OgNasty's services. I'll cover the 1% fee. But if you think about it, as long as you pay to my 11QG11uNjtc8KjAQJHcKhdds5yT1JZAd8 address and can sign a msg proving you sent the coins. I would assume the hosting providers will take that as proof of payment and recognise the new owners.

Nov. Hosting Fees -
Hosting fees at sidehack's will be paid by me up to the end of Nov 2014. Buyer must cover from 1st Dec 2014.
Hosting fees at MichColo has been paid up to the end of Nov 2014. Buyer must cover from 1 Dec 2014.

ah.. Shipping fees..

If shipping is required, Shipping fees will most likely have to be paid to the hosting provider separately and in advance. I will follow up with the hosting providers on how they can accept the Shipping fees. Will update again when I hear back from both of them.

yes, but it would be at the buyers cost. You would need to do your own estimates first on how much it would cost ship.

I will only request a quote from the hosting providers once I've made up my mind on who to sell the units too.

obviously, shipping isn't going to be cheap, do consider continue hosting with the current providers..

Total shipment weight   41.5 lbs / 18.82 kgs
Dimensions   28x22x7 in.

and consider import duties payable depending on the country you are importing too. <-- i don't know if any applies

If the SP30 is sold before month's end, I'll close out his invoice with the power draw as of the time I'm told to change hands, with the fees prorated for the month's duration. The new owner will be invoiced on Dec 1 with the draw and fees as of the time of changeover.

Unless other arrangements are made. If QG wants to factor in the month's bill to date into the price, the new owner would pay the entire month's invoice. That's been done before.

Additionally, regarding any hashrate dropouts from the hosted SP30 - we've been having firmware issues with the machine. The other one here, on an older firmware, has been running solid with only one downtime issue in over two months. As soon as I take care of some other in-house issues (I'm currently working on implementing remote access, which should be available Monday or Tuesday for all customers), I was planning on (with QG's permission) rolling the firmware back manually (which may require a recovery image reset) to what should be a more stable version. Any questions specifically regarding our hosting service can be PM'd or sent to hosting@gekkoscience.com

Hope that clarifies most of the queries, feel free to comment in the thread.

Thank you all for your interested. The units have been sold. The buyers can make them selves known and the price paid, should they wish. (price can be worked out if you know where to look, altho they haven't been paid for as yet Wink Price was not the deciding factor.

Apologies if I do not reply to every single PM I got, just heading off to work now...

Cheers,
QG
