A lot of time passed now and the forum still has the default Simple Machines Forum theme and not even a logo. The official bitcoin forum could really help the brand of bitcoin. What gives?

It has been stated that it should be ready for early next year, though that announcement was made quite some time ago without any further updates on it. Probably not much point giving an exact date unless they're certain as people will only complain once the deadline is missed or it's delayed.

This forum is not "official" Bitcoin forum.
It is considered the first place to go. Nothing can be official Bitcoin forum as Bitcoin is not owned by anybody. The sooner the new forum comes the better, everyday there are complaints about accounts getting hacked. |

The UI is the easiest thing to add/change if coded correctly. The "behind the scene" workings is a lot more important. |

Especially don't make it too white, it hurts my eyes. |

Yes, it was restored and also all the posts and feedbacks in LOBSTERHACKED were moved to LOBSTER and thus, his/her rank upgraded to HM.  ~~MZ~~ |
