Now I want one. This would be a great unit to review. People will love they can just stick it in their PC and go. The Butterfly Labs Imperial Monarch prototype. |

Perhaps the part where they are giving us >250% of our ordered hashrate as well as having half the electricity consumption as the closest competitor? If you would like to bet on whether or not the Monarch is vaporware, I would happily entertain that via PM. This thread isn't the place to spread BFL FUD though. There are plenty of threads in the hardware section for that. |

I know that I bought a number of seats at .34 or thereabouts. I still have them. Sure, I don't think it'll go back up near that again, but I've been getting donations since then. Plus there are a lot of things coming down the road that Nasty and Nonnakip have planned (I think). I made the decision not to sell my seats when I saw the price dropping when BTC was climbing. That's on me. I should have known better, but I'm no longer looking at it like I lost BTC, I'm looking at it like I have a bigger stake in NastyFans. I mean, I do hope that the seat price goes up with the delivery of more equipment, but I'm positive that it won't get that high again. Oh well! I made my decision and am actually glad that I've still a healthy stake in NastyFans. Funny, one thing I've been doing to make myself feel better about having bought in near the peak is buying seats now - to lower my average seat price.. I just look at that now! lol |

I think a lot of the reason sales were steady but not as high as you think it should be was due to lack of the news getting out about them. I know the seats are a good investment and the coins even more so due to their value both in silver and if you have a seat tied to it the value of the coin in BTC goes up steadily. Bitcoin is a long term investment right now and these or any other coin is an investment for the long haul. Enjoy and Happy Mining. One piece in the article is missing. That is great news. I hope they do get them out the door this time. I was really on the fence about wanting one and now I want one to test and review. They look like fun beasts.
