S3 has a problem with Overclocking: 0.5BTC including shipping via usps standard post within the Continental US. sold


Do to lack of interest in the blades I am relisting this as a kit.

Kit includes:

Backplane and Controlboard with a brand new BBB that works flawlessly; unlike its troubled Bitmaintech original.

The 5x good blades as well as 2x that work for about 12-48 hours then require a restart.

2x Jetflo 120mm fans with top grills (fan connectors have been modified to allow their connection to pwm backplane connectors)  

NOTE:  The unused 3 backplane slots DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY.  I will label them and the bad blades before shipping.

NO PSU included due to shipping cost. (you will need a 850w single rail or better for all 7 blades)

I have hundreds of Antminer Jumper switches left; I will throw 3 in if wanted with the kit.

Which S2 blades are they?  The control blade or the hashing blades?  Do you have the backplane for sale also?

S2 blades are hashing blades.  I have a backplane I can sell if you are looking for one, but I don't have any control boards for sale.

I am awaiting response from another member regarding a deal for 6x of the blades;

the other 2 of them produce errors after running at stock freq for more than 8 hours restarting even just miner config solves this (dont know why this happens) or if it is due to the backplane and not the blades.  Those trouble 2 are fine permanently if run with uv uc settings.

Awaiting terrapinflyer's response.  The S3 cannot be reliably overclocked; there is an issue with it where its performance degrades over time when it is OCed. 

I am waiting on terrapin to decide if he still wants it.  If he decides he does not; dance191 has next call, then you allinvain.

fullzero and I have worked out a deal for 0.463BTC shipped with acknowledgement of S3 having degraded OC performance.

S3 will ship in original packaging with standard post.

fullzero will ship first and I will send funds when the unit arrives. I will also update this post when it all works out.

I decided not to sell the 2 that aren't 100%.  I know to UK shipping is minimum of $81; I imagine France is more.  Probably not worth paying the shipping.

Shipping is just too expensive to France.  I'm planning on shipping the kit in 2x priority flat rate boxes, which makes the shipping reasonable within the Continental US.  Even within the US the Shipping price is excessive if flat rate boxes aren't used.
