hey guys need to sell my bitcoins as my silk road and black market accounts are being shut down for any larger transfers than 7 bitcoins you send half the paypal i send half the bitcoins then you send other half and vice versa for safety need to sell ultimately today or tomorrow PM me or post in this thread

ok, cautious with this guy. I sent him $100 PP in the beginning of last week, when I asked about them like 3 days later he claimed he didnt receive the paypal(altough my account indicates he accepted the payment already), so I sent him the transaction details from my paypal over, havent heard from him since.

so I guess he either is a scammer or doesnt want to honor his deal, since when I sent the paypal, he was doing some good deal, then the price went over $6, now I'm making a good deal. I PM'd him a couple times and didnt get a response.

will post here on updates.

BTW: just in case this doesnt resolve, how do I get my cash back? I sent the $100 to him as gift.

You can try opening a Paypal dispute but I doubt there is much chance of winning. Overall paypal does not offer protection for digital services and they allow Bitcoin selling/buying neither so make sure you don't mention that.

I dont think I will be able to dispute it since I sent it as a gift, and I did it from my home computer, because I didnt want to chargeback that, ie had no intention to defraud him, so the only thing I came up with was either chargeback the part of the money that came from my debit card or threaten him to tip off UK cops (since I have his PM telling me his mail, and his thread over here explaining his funding source). However, I'll wait until wednesday or thursday before doing any such thing, maybe he comes through and was simply a little unorganized.

Dispute it saying you sent to wrong email address.   Don't make it any more complex than that.  Certainly don't use the "B" word when it comes to PayPal unless you want the funds frozen until US goes back on the gold stand in November eleventy never.

The belief that "gift" are indisuptable is nonsense.  If someone hacked into your account and made a "gift" to his scammer friend for your entire PayPal balance plus the max they could draw from your CC & and the max balance of your checking account & the max of your overdraft line do you think PayPal is going so say "sorry dude it is a GIFT!  that $28,700 is irrreversible".   This is PayPal not Bitcoin.

Just file a claim and you will get your money back most likley. You are favored as the buyer, hence sellers being careful with pay pal. As a buyer, there is a chance you may not recieved all of it back but if we are talking about what is more likley, as a buyer I have yet to be stiffed by pay pal.

With that said, I have bought bitcoins through PP from black_star within 90 days. Much more than this amount I think... he sent them to me but maybe if we can prove he is scamming I'll put in a claim too. I hate scammers...but hopefully he will come in himself and clear it up because I wanted to buy these lol.

I dont think anyone should scam anyone else here. And please, lets not jump to conclusions yet. Only a little more than a week has passed, and there might still be a happy ending to all of this.

That is why I initially wrote "might have been scammed" in here. There might be legitimate reasons why he hasnt sent the coins yet, altough my gut tells me I got scammed. I'll keep updating this here.

Yea, it was more of a smirky/sarcastic comment (hence smiley face). I am not accusing anyone or really doing anything, I just hate to see anyone get scammed.

In trying to imagine why it would take that long, perhaps was it an eCheck? eChecks take time to clear...so that would make perfect sense.
