Paypal just sent me an email this morning stating that from today forward, any funds received will be held for 21 days before they are made available to me. This is supposedly because I am a "High-risk seller," even though I have never had a chargeback. I trade on #Bitcoin-OTC and regularly have 2-3 BTC a day to sell. What I would like is for the community to help me put together a list of members who use Dwolla, a far superior alternative to Paypal, with the caveat that it is US only. So, if you are on #Bitcoin-OTC, and have a Dwolla account, please respond in this thread and I will keep a list of user-names with your current GPG rating, (As up to date as I can.) I know there are at least a couple people, but I would love to compile a complete list for those of us fed up with the evil internet entity known as Paypal. Edit: Okay, so far the list is: proudhon - http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=proudhonbearbones - http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=bearbonesyrral86 - http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=yrral86toffoo - http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=toffoo (I can personally vouch for toffoo; very nice to deal with.) T3mpn4me - http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=T3mpn4me (Aliases: BTC_Bear, BTC_Bull - make sure to always use ;;ident for anyone you trade with just as a good rule of thumb - I can also vouch for T3mpn4me; very smooth dealings.)

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I'm on OTC under this name, and I use Dwolla. It'd be nice if we could get ratings from MtGox transactions.
|
Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

I am on dwolla with this username. It is my favorite exchange medium, because there is little fuss and they will ACH the funds on the cheap.

It looks like you're correct; dwolla doesn't have nicks. I was looking at the 'user' field on my dashboard, which says 'Bear Bones limited'. This is my company, however, not my nick.

I use Dwolla frequently, since PayPal froze my account too. See my OTC rating below. DWOLLA DWOLLA DWOLLA! ps: Chase Quickpay is also nice (and free!) if you don't like waiting for the Dwolla verification and ACH funding delays.

https://www.chase.com/online/services/quickpay.htmIt is completely free for both counterparties, but at least one of the two must bank at Chase. I highly recommend it, along with Dwolla it is a good option for trading Bitcoins.

-1 for Chase quickpay. Nonresponsive service, ridiculous password requirements, and no way to get access to your account if you forget your password.
