Normally Nitrogen doesn't have that much wagered, only since ~10 days or so. I understand that looks fishy together with that specific bet amount, but there is actually a good reason Smiley It is currently EV+ to bet on Nitrogen because of their jackpot. You need to have a 7 in the result for 13 times in a row. So on average you would lose the following amount:

1/(0.3439^13) = 1062629.12315 rolls.
1062629.12315 *0.001*0.01 = BTC10.626

While the jackpot right now is BTC18.74, so the player has a positive edge to bet!

Note there is a minimum bet amount which explains the bets you are seeing Wink
Quote
You must have a bet amount and a profit amount of at least 0.001 for your roll to count towards the jackpot.

TBH, I am actually considering to even put up a bot myself lol.

But this is only just numbers there, you are not going to hit it exactly there unless you are really lucky on betting that. I tried it once but of course not hit 7 for 13 times but tried it roll all day but got nothing, still losing much of my balance. Make the exact  same deposit again and still can't do this thing. Double balance but nothing like this jackpot can be hit

This would be understandable if I saw multiple people rolling on their site for this but every time I’m on there I literally only see one user (4938518) betting. Looks like everyone else bets less than 0.001, and you can actually tell that it’s a real user playing.

Not saying they’re betting on their own dice for sure, but it just seems too fishy. Furthermore, the “player” 4938519 seems to have hit the jackpot yesterday but they’re still betting the exact same way...it’s all too strange that the only player betting like that wins the jackpot and continues to do so. Is it just me, or do others think the same? I mean, I literally never see anyone playing there yet they’re somehow beating even PD in their weekly wager volume.

EDIT: looks like they actually have 2 bots running, 4938518 and 4938519. What are the chances that users that close together are both wagering the same way? This just keeps getting weirder and weirder...

There are definitely others. Right now user "636296" is going for the jackpot. Obviously you still have to risk a decent amount of money, so it's not like there are that many going for it.

Furthermore, the “player” 4938519 seems to have hit the jackpot yesterday but they’re still betting the exact same way...it’s all too strange that the only player betting like that wins the jackpot and continues to do so.
Somehow the jackpot got reset to ~5.6 BTC after the JP win. I am not sure what rules they have for that. However, with the 12 required sevens, it's still EV+ right now.

(Note they can change the required sevens to 13, it is unclear when they do this.)

looks like they actually have 2 bots running, 4938518 and 4938519. What are the chances that users that close together are both wagering the same way?

Chances are very high that this is indeed the same user running a bot on 2 accounts to increase their odds (assuming that there is an account-bet-limit.) I am not sure if that's allowed per nitrogen TOS, but that would be his problem lol. If Nitrogen wanted to fake players, it seems like getting 2 more random IDs would be pretty easy.

To be clear: of course Nitrogen (or any dice site) could fake players Tongue And I do appreciate you reporting this, I definitely take it serious and in the past I have analyzed many bets on other sites very carefully. I was planning to do the same before I saw the jackpot. But overall, I really don't think it's far-fetched to imagine people are taking a EV+ opportunity.

Personally I didn't try to go for the JP, because there is still some risk you don't win it and with the required 13 times you would still have to risk a decent sum. That being said, I even got a PM from someone after my first reply to ask some details. And he actually did give it a try with the autobet option (unfortunately he didn't win the JP though.) While it might be only 3-10 players going for it (from time to time), constantly betting 0.001 definitely increases their total wager. If someone hits the JP again and when it's not EV+ anymore, I certainly expect the wager to be lower again.

I think it is pretty common to see the same player or players making the same bets, especially when dice bots are in play. Almost every site I visit has their regulars, although they come and go, some return after ages, some move on elsewhere. Huge JPs like that do tend to attract as they're +EV like you said. Some admins also openly gamble on their casinos, I see nothing wrong with that, although others might say conflict of interest, it proves to me the site is good enough for admins to play at.

Keep up the good comments, admin. Thread is almost 4 years old!

First of all, compliments for your nice site! Smiley
Thank you Smiley

I want to ask you to mention my (school)project on your site. On the site you can play 100% transparent and demonstrably honest gambling through the blockhash. https://www.blockhash.win/
Pretty cool you could initially build that for a school project hehe Smiley

Dicesites.com is meant to be an overview of the most popular dice sites, so I could only add your site in the future if it's already more popular. Best of luck though.

Why is PrimeDice not on your weekly top 10 now?

it is now, unless my eyes betray me
Primedice was upgraded to Primedice5 version during this week,so maybe their wagered total wasn't on par
other than that there should be no reson for it not to be top 10,it is topping the charts currently,by the way
wonder how Bustadice is 0.7% EV investors profit, they seem to be -5 btc down total, rough times

Hi
Since we launched our new site dicesites hasn't been tracking our stats.
Can you update? Let me know if you need any api info.
You can get most data from betking.io/stats

Not only that, there are a lot of errors, for example, when I want to sort websites (max payout) it only shows max payout on only two website, on other ones I only see max profit. Don't know if those websites don't provide that information but at least they must be separated.
New and nice design would be great, hope dicesites won't die in this old design like nicehash "died".
Will be glad if admin adds other websites too Smiley

That makes sense since some casinos don't limit the payout, only the profit.

For example, bustadice currently has a max profit of approximately Ƀ 21. But the theoretical max payout is nearly Ƀ 2,150 if someone were to make the largest possible bet.

For altcoin gambling, the Y-axis of the "Total wagered" graphs are labelled "Wagered (BTC)", but the actual numbers seem to be in terms of the altcoin (e.g. ETH for dicesites.com/crypto-games/eth). This is pretty confusing!

Also, it'd be nice if the front page showed a Weekly Wagered stat for all sites, in addition to the Top 10 column that's currently shown (or maybe add an option to expand the Top 10 to include all sites). That'd make things a little easier for people who want to compare sites/coins that aren't as popular.

LOL, promotion bump has been done here. If you have any queries related to this you may post that but you have used others thread to promote the project do you believe it will be work better what you spammed here.
You itself spammed how this roulette game is trustworthy to invest and play. Please ignore others.
If you guys want to invest check the cloudbet , bitdice or yolodice. These seems trustworthy.

I believe this still stands:

The list is currently indeed not meant to list "all dice sites", but mostly "all established popular dice sites".

@NLNico - are you still adding Dice sites to the list? What are the requirements to do so? Smiley

I believe this still stands:

<snip>
The list is currently indeed not meant to list "all dice sites", but mostly "all established popular dice sites".
<snip>

Thanks, I've seen it and thought that maybe there's a more "structured" list of requirements Smiley

That's amazing. Do you also have plan to include other betting sites in your site? I think you should consider that in future

It seems that the eth and ltc stats for bitvest haven't updated in a while. Did the API break?
