Once again I have some of my *REPLICA* PAMP Suisse 1oz Gold Bars for sale. They are obviously NOT real and are being sold as novelty pieces only. I find them cool so I think other people will, too. It's highly illegal to counterfeit U.S. currency (Morgan silver dollars), but the laws are a little more blurry about something like this. Sort of similar to normal counterfeit goods, legality-wise.

I can't find anything about these being illegal, but surely they are pointless to own unless you are going to scam someone with them.  I saw someone doing just that on cryptothrift, asking $700 for these claiming it was a great deal.  Hopefully no one got scammed

I don't know guys, whats the difference between a fake gold bar and a real one? Gold is a symbol of wealth it isn't wealth itself. If you want a few gold bars to put in your house to impress friends then why not just go with the fakes? However if you want to keep pretending that gold stores any value outside of its controlled distribution then spend much more on the real bars.
