Hey, I'm wondering how profitable 2 r9 290's watercooled (100% load for 1 hour and they don't hit 40 degree) is over 1 month of mining? I've read a few threads as far as how to get into mining and how to set things up but can't seem to figure this one out. Also, my utilities are included in my rent so there is no cost there. I see that 1 bitcoin is worth 377.43 USD today. How long would it take my cards to make 1 coin?

Thanks in advance for the help!

try mining an X11 coin such as DarkCoin and then convert to BTC..uses less electricity and you should get about 0.0007 BTC with 4GHs/X11/day

edit..about a 1200 days to get to 1 Bitcoin at current DRK prices

Hmm darkcoin, i'll give it a try. So say my next video costs 300 dollars. How long would it take for my 2 290x cards to pay for my next upgrade? I'm just trying to figure out if 2 cards is enough to really be profitable, given that my cards will not last as long if they mine 24/7. And as I said before, I don't pay for electricity, so there's no real cost.
