is there a certain malware to watch out for that steals btc? i only go on sites to watch movies and everything else is legit sites.

Just don't download files from non-trusted cryptocurrency sites. Just check the links are correct. For example see http://blocckchain.info/ (Scam site - don't enter ID or password), URL is similar to blockchain.info's that we don't recognize correctly. So be careful. Smiley

they just issued a refund for most affected btc address, so everyone who lost something got most of their btc back.

i guess it was a huge wide spread of blockchain address.

The coins were taken to show a flaw in a few wallets at blockchain but more wallets were flawed than thought and 267 btc was swept out.ALL 267 BTC WAS RETURNED TO BLOCKCHAIN and the flaw was sorted
