Hi, I understand the risks involved with paypal, but I have 100+ trades and a 100% feedback and have never had a problem. I am on LBC and I'm trying to buy BTC today for +6% bitstamp. My localbitcoins account has 100+ trades and a 100% feedback and we can use their website for escrow.

You'll get your money:
- As a gift
- If not possible, I pay the paypal fees.
- my paypal is my personal US account, almost 8 years old.
- The funds are in my paypal so you will get them instantly with no delay.

Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks!

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Newbie with paypal, but I dont think you will get any seller who will accept paypal payment from you because of reversible nature.

OP, you know I can claim to be anyone on LBC? You have no proof that it's your account.

And also, if you have hundreds of trades on LBC, then use your reputation on there to buy with paypal. On here, your reputation is zero, so no one will trust you with a paypal purchase no matter how high you're paying.

He has included a link to localbitcoins by which you can sell him BTC via localbitcoins.
Read before you post

To OP:

Consider using a forum escrow and don't forget to mention the fact that Paypal gifts are irreversible once they are claimed.
I think you can use the localbitcoins forum using your account and post a topic confirming that this is your account.

I'm not really interested in selling BTC currently , good luck buying !

EDIT : Somebody said paypal gifts are reversible. I guess I haven't used it in the last three years and don't know much about it any more.

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.

I'm not saying OP is a scammer but paypal is easily reversible. I learnt it the hard way.

Gifts are not reversible. They also don't have any fees.

However , if it gets reported that a gift was used while it was a goods transaction , the money shall be confiscated.
The buyer cannot get any profit , but if they are malicious , they can get your money taken away.

Really ? I thought gifts were always used due to irreversibility.
That sucks.

Well , OP should better wait until paypal starts accepting BTC Tongue
Purse.io can be used , with much much higher fees though.

You do understand I'm using LBC for escrow right? I'm using the same account with that reputation...

My offer still stands for serious sellers, verification of my identity and residence available if needed.

People, I've been lurking the forums for a few years now, I don't need your "Paypal is risky" business, I said so on my first sentence of this thread, and the sticky is obvious for anyone. Paypal are reversible for both "Gift" and regular transactions. "Gift" transactions are not as easy to reverse because Paypal has "No buyer protection" for it. I have not had a problem sending gifts for Bitcoin as of yet. My reputation stands and this thread is for people who understand the risks but are willing to trade with me for that 6% premium.

In any case someone has already sold me coins using the link above (via LBC). If anyone else is interested PM me and I will activate my ad again.
