Just by the sheer spamming of these forums I was not interested in anything they have to offer at all..

Zero points for forum diarrhea..
To be fair even Regatu complained about the spam, was a user not them.

No, they're playing stupid.  They awarded me 100 karma points after I've already sent them about 3 "Fuck you" PMs with evidence demonstrating manipulation on the site.

I'll check for more interesting patterns later.  Is any of this conclusive?  I don't know.  Check for yourself.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=86551.msg975633#msg975633 I love how they just lock threads, That solves the problem. They are invested in company they should be transparent.

Also they pointed to this site. http://meta.osqa.net/questions/98/what-does-bootstrap-mode-mean and I quote...

Quote
When the bootstrap mode is checked, your site will allow everyone who registers to vote, comment, answer, etc.
Where does it say that you can change and game the system. They obviously have no clue in how to run this site and it is very sad that people have invested in them to only lose their BTC to a "FUNCTIONAL SCAM". I think Rugatu should come to this thread and answer all question honestly and with out locking the threads. They would make great wall street workers, maybe BTC isn't for them.

Why don't you just come to this thread answer some questions? You are an invested site on the exchange, don't you think there should be some transparency? You do ow your investors that much right after your stock tanked? Also if you read that article about "Bootstrap mode" that has no influence on why the team is answering questions, downvoting, choosing answers that don't have the most upvotes, can you explain that?

Or this PM attacking you.. remember if you don't answer you are doing a great disservice to your investors and the people that use your site.

and I would like to say we gotten at least a "sorry" I think that is a part win!

Thanks for reporting this issue

Ok, great, now suspend these:

http://www.rugatu.com/users/13/llukasz/reputation/
http://www.rugatu.com/users/6/lukasz/reputation/
http://www.rugatu.com/users/5/cscoxx/reputation/
http://www.rugatu.com/users/61/2isaf7fl0/reputation/
http://www.rugatu.com/users/147/paraipan/reputation/

AND, most importantly, suspend User Support.

Honestly, do you think we're that fucking stupid?  Everybody working at Rugatu including yourself knows exactly what is going on.  You're a bunch of scamming fucks, and everyone is going to know about this.  I can be quite diligent when I want to be.

Rugatu:
Quote
I don't understand what do you want exactly the joint. Care to explain ?

Me:
Quote
I think User Support and paraipan and Diana S (at the very least) should receive suspensions.  It's blatantly obvious that virtually all, if not absolutely all, Rugatu moderators are manipulating questions by 1) voting-up each other's responses and 2) down-voting non-moderator responses, and there have other complaints that 3) moderators are altering peoples' questions and/or responses.

Cut the shit.  You will never gain traction by screwing your userbase.  Suspend User Support, paraipan, and Diana S (at minimum, if not all the others) and I will be satisfied at least until the manipulation becomes obvious once again.  If not, I'll continue to expose every bullshit manipulation tactic and make sure that absolutely everybody on this forum hears about it.

Your call.

Rugatu:
Quote
Ok, let's take this into smaller parts.

You we're there the first day ? If yes, i guess you know we had rugatu in start-up mode, users get awarded more karma for everything they do and supposedly has to help start a new community. Obviously was a mistake, and i will make sure to pass that on to the OSQA developers.

Second. Why paraipan ? Or DianaS ? UserSupport can't be suspended because it's the main administration account.

Third. You know that every modification gets shown to any user right ? Higher rep users get to see the revisions too, just like a wiki.

I'm not aware of more manipulations or influencing that you or other users reported, so the bunch of people who where there first got to vote or post anything they wanted between themselves until more people got to join.

Your call.

Me:
Quote
Wrong response.  Have it your way.  You do realize that Rugatu is already listed on the Bitcoin shit-list (which I had nothing to do with).  You are one of the worst fucking businessmen I've ever encountered.

Watch your site crash and burn from your own incompetency.

Rugatu:
Quote
That really sounds like a threat. I already explained what the reason for some users having high karma.

http://meta.osqa.net/questions/98/what-does-bootstrap-mode-mean

Inexperienced users where called to help us out with the launch and they got the reputation levels you saw. If you don't get it do yourself a favor and document this before making accusations.

Take care,
Rugatu

Me:
Quote
No, it is not I who is threatening you.  As such, that is why I have labeled "suspects" in the linked-thread I gave to you and left it up for the community to decide.  I'm saying that you are threatening your own business by not coming clean.  User Support is the largest instigator of all of this because User Support is among those involved in the up-voting of Rugatu moderators.  Did you not see the "documentation" of all of User Support's up-voting of edgar_t who you yourself admitted was among those affiliated with Rugatu?

How about this:  Would you apologize to the community for User Support's actions of up-voting members affiliated with Rugatu (hence manipulation) and we'll call it a day?  And then please don't do it again.

Rugatu:
Quote
Yes, first to you, for making you doubt me and my team, and to the community, to set things straight.

We had UserSupport used wrongly by our team members. I can vouch for them voting and posting without discriminating between users or other team members. No harm was intended but it seems like it wasn't the best decision letting them use the account. That user is very powerful and it can't be used like that. One thing we learned, word.

If you ever start a community like this, based on osqa code, do not use the bootstrap mode, ever. We learned that the hard way.

We will post in our thread on the issue.

Take care,
Rugatu

A fantastic response.  Thank you.  Apology accepted.  Believe me, I want to see as many Bitcoin businesses to succeed as possible.  Good luck with your endeavors.

Well I got another issue, I just won an hypothetical reward of 1.5 Btc ( Which is very nice from them).
Usually when you get the reward you recieve the 100% of it, but for some strange case which  I am not aware they put yesterday an extra 5% fee on the rewards.
I mean, it's really nice to get the reward but why get a 5% fee only on that one?

I think Rugatu should write somewhere in their website that it's based on the http://www.osqa.net/
All webpages using it include the "powered by Osqa" at the end of the webpage.

Since it's not their own code, it would be nice.

I'm making this post here because rugatu's original thread is closed.
