hi,

i need a quick information.

When i browse the satoshidice webpage, it assigns me a member name (e.g. guru8793) and recognizes me according to my internet address.

What i am asking is:  when i then deposit bitcoin on my account i get asked to set a password; but my question is, if i turn off the pc and then turn it on and go again in the satoshidice page, how can i get back to my account with the deposits in it???

I didn't find any log in link to get back into my account with deposits !

thanks in advance

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

From what I've checked it looks like the your only identification is in browser cookie.
That means that normally you will not lose anything. I even did a test with the faucet money. I've lost my alias on browser restart, but not my money.

If you clean your cookies or change browser / computer then, yeah, not good. On other sites if you could password protect the account (and alias), here I didn't see anything for that.

Also, if other tries to use your "secret" url, it's not letting him in. So it's not as unsafe as you would first think.

Sites like this uses your browser cookie to store you identification as far as i know. Not your internet address or IP. You will have your balance saved if you login from the same computer using the same browser. Your identification will be lost if you clear your cookies. So make sure you don't do that. You won't be able to access your account if you login from another browser and if you don't import your cookies.

Since they allow you to set password after doing a deposit there should be a link somewhere to login or you should try contacting support.

By the way i can't access the site. It says "This webpage is not available".

You can try to contact their support team. You might also want to provide the address you deposit into. Also, a signed message for the wallet you send. This might be able to prove you deposit those Bitcoin.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!
