According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Actually... That's a pretty good idea. I'm not sure why it's never been proposed. It'd keep a lot of trash out of this subforum, and if someone really insists, they can PM a sticky lender.

Hours is probably easy to beat with an auto clicker

I think they would not do months but they would do it like Noob Jail, but instead of 4 hours they should make loans 24 hours maybe?
