What do you expect?  You have no collateral.

I don't think it is realistic to expect someone to finance the entire development and bankroll of your gambling site. These sites are very risky to both the owner and users so anyone starting such a site is effectively gambling by betting on the house.

This is in addition to the fact that you are offering nothing more then your reputation (which is worthless) as collateral.

I don't understand why I would need collateral, when I do not ask for up front payment.

Understood, though.
I suppose I'll sit this book on the shelf and move on.
