A breakdown of the auction results

He announced an intention to distribute 300 coin to each startup he's involved in.... so that might move again soon. Not sure if he has decided to go to 500 each from the way he split there, or that's just how he handles his coins.

Nice details i tink i've seen some of these transactions go by on blockchain and couldnt help but wonder who was sending such large amounts at once and what they could  possibly be for if not for just money alone

FBI coins were suppose to bring the market to 200$ or lower according to bears, we have a price of 350$. Maybe we will get to 600$ or more when the FBI auctions news is old.

Thanks for the interesting analysis Elwar if the coins are going into Big wallets it means that whoever is stockpiling them will need them for one reason or other, aka bitcoin development.

They won 48000 of the bitcoins and Tim Draper got 2000.

it's not known...we still don't know the price Tim Draper paid back in July

As far as we know, he could have had bids on the lot, but didn't bid higher than the winners.

Given that he won all the lots in the previous auction, he might have thought he outbid all the others by a large amount.
So most probably he lowered his bids and lost most blocks in the auction.

Wow...nice work there putting everything into so detail. I wonder how much did the winner actually paid for the bitcoin. I mean how low was that compared if they were to acquire from open market. I expect at least 10% lower

I don't think so. You just can get at that much Bitcoin on the open market, without raising the price.
