Love the idea. Using bitcoin in online multi-player games of all sorts is definitely a way to go and there's a huge potential.

I've seen a few Bitcoin-centric Minecraft servers come and go. This one, noting the excellent CoinDesk profile, looks like it might have a shot of surviving. I will have to stop by and check out the community.

Bitcoin prizes for playing StarCraft 2 would be awesome!  But then again, it'd make only those awesome Korean gamers rich.   

Just gaming in general, adding a Bitcoin bounty or rewards system for competition, as well as getting various Bitcoin companies to sponsor these events, would bode well for Crypto.

Seems like BTC and gaming go hand in hand, especially since a good portion of mining was done with CPUs and GPUs in the beginning.

I would love to get paid satoshis per every mined gold ingame or something like that, it would give more incentive for players to mine, and gold is pretty useless in game.
