Mini Rigs in the wild!

Fellow Bitcoiners,

The mini rigs have arrived!

Instead of wasting your time telling you how awesome these things are or how easy they were to setup, I'll just post some pics with captions.

Here the rigs are in their full packaging.


Here are the rigs off of the pallet but still in their protective bubble wrap.


A rig unwrapped sitting on the desk to show just how massive they are.

All of the rigs racked. Had to rework the shelving since they are over 16 inches tall.


Another one in the rack.


Everything is working with BFGminer and will be integrated into cgminer as luke-jr works out the kinks conman gets time to integrate it. If you have any questions, ask away!

The total average hash rate in bfgminer is around 103.5Gh/s. BFL has OVER DELIVERED on the hash rate of these things!

Ha, ha, those little GPUs in between look awfully pathetic by comparison. It will be truly frightening when you trade these in 50% for ASICs!

The are fairly quite compared to a 4x5970 reference rig running at 80% fans. I probably wouldn't run them in my living room though.

EDIT: also, power draw. Wanna see a killawatt on those pls.

I do not have something to measure power draw on 208v. I'm happy taking BFL's word on the power draw side of things.

Yeah OK, and even though the PSU will run on 120v I'm sure you don't want to lose even a second of mining time just for some measurements lol.

I'm guessing they also will be better than BFL's numbers because they are on 208v.

The front screens are currently only showing preset information. BFL has stated that this will be fixed in coming revisions of the case / chaining of the PCBs inside the case. We saw the same thing with the singles and as more come out, they will correct these relatively minor issues.

For me, I could care less about the screen as long as the thing is hashing away.

It's because it's 100Gh!

I'm not quite sure if many of you have tried to run 100Gh of GPUs. It's pretty much a 10hr a day job.

These things are setup and go.
