I don't want to dissapoint you, but those coins are mostly restrikes. (No numismatic value). You should weigh them, and multiply with daily gold price. And purity of gold might vary from coin to coin.

No need to disappoint anyone. I am well aware of this. The price corresponds to a 10% over spot since they are extremely well preserved. That's the price I got proposed once, but I wasn't willing to sell at that time. Those coins have quiet a good weight of gold in them Wink

You must be blind... I said I know that. I have already said that price corresponds to 10% over spot! If you are not interested, pls at least post constructive comments...

Gold is an asset. A secure one. But if you want to melt a ring for your wife with your gold, that's your right Wink

Gold is an asset that can always be sold: it has been of value for centuries and will be a value for centuries. I do not understand your point as I am confident there are serious investors in this forum ready to buy gold and not only people who are so bored they post useless comments from time to time to annoy the real bitcoin economy. You are not interested in what I am proposing ? Then why even bother reading the topic Huh Unless you are interested in buying or negotiating, pls do not post here.

Pls develop further. I am no expert and ready to accept your analysis.
Well, for starters, you keep your gold coins in an environment where outside influence can ruin them. You should at least have them in some sort of container (like you often see with Physical Bitcoins). Also, your coins will never be excellent. An excellent preserved comes means it just came from the press and even then it doesn't have to be perfect. They look great, yes, but they are no where near excellent.

Fine. Then they are in a great state. As for the environment, they are in special red boxes made exclusivly for such use: could you pls read the OP before posting ? Thx.

I did. Could you please not insult me without thinking, thx. A red box still won't protect your coins against itself (or the outside for that matter, because it isn't airtight). The coins will become dusty and you have no idea what kind of chemicals are inside that box (or what get's inside from the outside). I'm sure that every, serious, coin collector out there would agree with me that having them in a box isn't good enough for long term preservation.
