Amazing news, but it just occurred to me, more people loading $ in their accounts means more bitcoins being sold by Bitpay/Coinbase/whoever.
True, but those bitcoins being sold had to be bought once.
This really is good news, many other companies follow in the big guys foot steps and with this being one of the biggest companies there going to leave some big foot prints for all the followers.
Welcome Microsoft to the world of BITCOINS!

Payment in bitcoin is illegal in China. Chinese may not use bitcoin to pay for MS products.

MS products only for sale in the US to begin with. China can stick to mining the bitcoins while the US spends them. Sounds familiar,

It was really the right time that Microsoft finally accept BTC.
They are real leaders in IT industry, always first to accept new ideas and implement it, so now I'm sure that other IT companies will follow and accept BTC as well.

Actually they had an about-turn on their opinion of Linux. Microsoft love Linux now and make lots of money from selling Linux-based cloud services:

This is huge!
How long till we have Skype accepting it as well?

{ Imagine a sequence of bits generated from the first decimal place of the square roots of whole integers that are irrational numbers. If the decimal falls between 0 and 5, it's considered bit 0, and if it falls between 5 and 10, it's considered bit 1. This sequence from a simple integer count of contiguous irrationals and their logical decimal expansion of the first decimal place is called the 'main irrational stream.' Our goal is to design a physical and optical computing system system that can detect when this stream starts matching a specific pattern of a given size of bits. bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=166760.0 } Satoshi did use a friend class in C++ and put a comment on the code saying: "This is why people hate C++".

Maybe we will get lucky and Microsoft will not dump their coins...

Great news, huge marketing. But they dump on the moment an account is being funded (through Bitpay), it get's credited in US$.

Fantastic news!

But I wish they would enable everyone to use Bitcoin as payment form, and not only US.

It's a step in the right direction now that even Microsoft is trying Bitcoin.
