I will buy your single.  But at it's TRADE IN value.  Anything over its trade in value is not a smart move, IMHO.

Let me know.

Thanks.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

hehe, that would kind of depend on how you calculate 'trade in' value. ;p

From a seller's perspective they could say it is in equal value of the $/MH of the unit to be traded for -cost to trade up. I'll let you work that theoretical math, but it's expensive. This is justifiable, all be it not likely, by the ROI at current difficulty.

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

A fair value would be their trade in value (600USD), plus whatever BTC can be generated between now and the ASIC ship time (anywhere from 3-5 months from now). You're talking upwards of 30-45 BTC, depending on future difficulty.

Any left for sale? Anyone?

Curious what current market is looking like for non-ASIC singles.

A more reasonable may to find the value of a single is between now and when you could get one if you ordered it today.   That is around 60 days of income not 3-5 months.  Still that is around $800 and most of them sell for between $700 and $900.
