I'm selling 125 BTC for USD at the market rate. I will accept Western Union, US wire transfers (not ACH transfers), or cash in the mail. You pay any transfer fees. I might accept other methods if the method is irreversible or you are very trustworthy. Smaller amounts (at least $20) are OK.

Hi theymos, do you accept USD MtGox vouchers?

As you are a trusted guy, I will accept to pay you in advance the current weighted Avg price that appears at Mt.Gox right now $6.39218 * 125  = $799.0225

In order to avoid others to intercept the code for the voucher I will send you a GPG encrypted and signed message with the code. I will wait for you to verify that the code I have sent you is still valid and then I expect you to send the coins to one of my bitcoin addresses like the one in my signature.

Do we have a deal?

Hi theymos, do you accept USD MtGox vouchers?

Sorry, no. I want to get the USD into my bank account, and MTGUSD is no better than BTC in that regard.

if you hold the check and it clears then it is no longer reversible.  I'm trying to avoid the fee too

I've heard of this and told my credit union to hold a suspect check once to make sure it would clear and I wouldn't get charged for a bounce. YMMV

Checks, yes, but with money orders it's pretty hard once the money order has been paid.

Aren't wires still reversible?

No.

That's what Dwolla told Tradehill.

My understanding is that checks are theoretically reversible for 60-120 days. Maybe it's not easy to get your bank to reverse the check after a few days, but it's still reversible.

That's what Dwolla told Tradehill.

Dwolla uses ACH transfers.

Checks and money orders are reversible.

If you recieve and cash a USPS money order at the post office, I don't see how that could be reversed. You have the cash in your hand?
