the issue is your automake/ autoconf
you need to either re-install or make a fresh machine
Alternatively, you also might try adding this line to configure.ac (in bicreditsnew directory) AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE([subdir-objects])
I believe subdir-objects is enabled by default in the most recent versions of autotools, so you are probably running an older one.

Sync, while faster than the first rc is still pretty slow than most clients, while we have a lot more going on than clones, i still think we can do better.
with everything in place, has any windows user had a crash?
no crashes but yes it looks like in my case it will take a week to sync. I'm on block 42159 after 10 hours

ah, likely the first rc, i have since made improvements and will post a link in a short while for a faster version Took me approximately 5 hours to fully sync from scratch. Considering the chain is not even 1GB in total size, any speed improvements in regards to synchronization are more than welcome! On a sidenote: Many have requested a Slack channel for BCR, mostly because of the advantages it offers over an IRC channel. Since Slack stores old/previous messages, everyone joining the channel at a later time is able to read back through past conversations. Hence making Slack a transparant and good source of information for people interested. So, on behalf of the developer, I created a Slack channel for BCR: https://bcrofficial.slack.com/ If you want to join, please send me a PM including your email address so I can invite you.In the meantime I'm trying to figure out a way to make this channel public for everyone. Is it even possible?

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks

I am negotiating our way to a android wallet capable of handling everything we have on the desktop wallet.
Current Price ~ 3 BTC
we have an offer @ 1.5 btc and 1 M BCR

"handling everything we have on the desktop wallet." i dont think pow mining or vanitygen are appropriate for a mobile device, though banknode (as the simple masternode it is now) is feasible. messaging is incomplete voting is incomplete p2p lending is not released yet android dev thoughts on sqliteDB? will the android dev change the android wallet for free over the next months as the BCR desktop wallets evolve as planned? Or would you and the crowdfunders who raise ~$1100 USD for an android copy of the current incomplete desktop wallet have to pay a similar fee again in the future. THINK: of the current userbase, which user's life would be improved by the release of an android wallet in the next few days. Its not like we need BCR on the go just yet. There is so much that is in the wallet thats so close to being finished I know the coding can be nuts, maybe we take a few days for planning. Its not going to matter in the long run if p2p lending comes out of beta testing end of this month or end of March so long as the finished product is useful or better

Will it actually somebody using it ? I mean it's a great thing for the hype, but what's furthermore. About price, 1.5 BTC seems reasonable and then let him buy BCR from exchange (1M BCR is too generous) I get that some parts of it were already made on git, but what's the plan to do with it later, will it be updated from time to time or left to rot ? My thoughts are that this is not time for android wallet, like seeking for more exchenges right now when we have no volume even on bittrex. Those things should be coordinated and made in the right time, better now to focus on expanding coummunity, it's free but time consuming, I'm not good at writing but hapilly will retweet some info, evangelising some new ideas is for people who fully understand it, so far only basics, let's try slack (still waiting for Luc's invite). If newcomers will come I will try to help them with all I understand. EDIT: Took some time to write this, glad that some of jasemoney' thoughts are similar to mine ...

Its not going to matter in the long run if p2p lending comes out of beta testing end of this month or end of March so long as the finished product is useful or better Many of these things work in the daemon, but as you know, me and QT are not friends. Mining and vanitygen can be disabled , or made optional. The price is for perpetual builds as we will take over the builds and modify the UI as we desire. SQite --QT issue is exactly that...QT... once we figure it out on windows , it's done for android too. st of my work right now is centered around this. The reason i am so persistent about this is that when we launch, i want us to go where it counts. Money is going mobile, we need to go mobile. I personally would feel a hell lot better if we could release wallets for every platform at every iteration. The whole idea of userbase.....it can potentially expand by a huge margin if people can just get the app on their phone or their tablet. Mobile payments are a huge industry , we bring payments and financial services , that puts us miles ahead. I know many will feel this doesn't make sense, but trust me when i say, a product release, even in beta , has more weight when it is truly cross platform. You are very correct in that the wallet has a lot of work to be done, but that as usual always falls back to the fact that there is only one active developer. Our pushing forward hard right now with all these facets of the project will pay off eventually. I would feel more comfortable if i had a complete toolkit such that the only development delay will be my limitations, physical and technical.

I vote a definite no. I'd rather see win/mac ironed up first. No use for android right now unless it's essential for one of BCRs core features. Also, no offense to the bidder but the offer is miserable. That's 5% of the economy for half an android wallet, an unneeded luxury at this stage of the project, now if that money is for help with core code then that's a completely different story but the price would still be a complete joke. *edit* read your mobile reasoning

I feel that the most immediate way to expand the community is
1) explore other platforms (mac/android) 2) get listed on more exchanges 3) quickly finish up the last "foundation" items such that the blockchain need not ever be disrupted again.
Once we have a solid following, we will see an increase in bids (speaking off...my bad, been so worked up by win qt didnt check on them) We may even see an increase in market price.
But for people to come, we must make the advantages clear, this means features and compatibility, accessibility and utility. These things come from rapid expansion within the scope of what can be done now.
As it stands, we have many users who have mac machines but can't use BCR because we do not have a wallet for them. Expanding to mobile will take us out of forum posts to listings in App stores ..... where we can now all refer even the least technical people. It may start out as curiosity or just humoring, but if the app is on a phone, a person will eventually click and maybe get interested. Right now we have no hope of that as we have only forum users attention, of which tbh the vast majority really don't pursue technology or ideas, they pursue profit, ergo pump and dump.
Make no mistake, the vast majority of us here are technically astute to a certain degree, but we need to start branching out hence my adding our website to one of the new seed nodes. m hoping we can update it and spruce it up over the next week.
If we get to the point i envision for May 2016, i think we can even get a kickstarter/go-fund-me thing going. with 5 devs of the calibre i require, we'll start going places.

Didn´t get an error like this on my ubuntu. Only thing that changed is sqlite: sudo apt-get install sqlite3 libsqlite3-dev Then it should work. Try to delete the local git-rep and clone new from github. Then try again to compile. lg t.
No luck, I had already latest version, so tried to remove it then install again, still the same, it could stop to work after some update, found somewhere that running ./autogen.sh twice could help but not in my case, I will try later some older not updated version. the issue is your automake/ autoconf you need to either re-install or make a fresh machine For something completely different, tried now ubuntu on VPS which was not touched almost a month and even earlier was used to compile some 30.18 wallet, now it give's me the same error, sqlite installed , really nothing more were changed in git because this looks strange for me ? @bitcreditscc 1) agree 2) agree but let's be honest, you will not get it now with such a low volume, why DRK was removed from bitfinex ? Low volume, constant updates which gives a exchange operators more headaches than earnings, bitlicense and some regulations is another thing ...

Price for perpetual builds at flat rate 3btc sounds fair. If you and qt aren't friends... any thoughts on making it an html5 wallet? (This is me name dropping. Unsure if it would actually help, but could make design easier with the headache of completely overhauling the wallet.) Or having the Droid wallet an spv client so people don't have to sync a full chain. With the databases this data directory is going to get huge over time and it's already not trivial in size. With my limited foresight all I could ever envision a mobile user needing would be... Send receive coins Check loan status/submit repayment Check and send messages

I kind of like the current isolated QT, i will however look into the html5 option, please note that most coins that have claimed html5 wallets were just using it inside QT. As part of the compatibilty drive, i will be updating our code base to match the current BTc, this means pruning is an option, hence SPV is easily achieved. This excludes the electrum wallet that I intend to finish when i get the time.

while were on the crowdfunding thought process, it could be relatively easy to get a masternode calculator up. any interest in this? it would show live nodes, do a daily expected payout per banknode etc. not sure the price yet. but it was useful for cravecoin back in the day.
