I think a lot of other threads pointed out that investment in bitcoin was worst this year, only oil was at the same level.
Rest of the investments were better,

To me it was a great year.
Made some good profits with day trading this year.
I hope next year will bring us much good and some level of stability.

the best is Russian ruble  That guy will kill the russia.. But Russia gained some territory and 2 million population. Is it not on long term only about that? And yes. It seems Twitter is same shit as BTC, Oil and Ruble.  |

I am not one of them...lost all mine due to err sleeping pills we'll say :]
The depression from loosing them all has gone now which is good lol.. helpes to stop going on forums etc..
Don't hear much abour bitcoin on the news anymore.. It was quite frequent maybe 6 or 9 months ago..

The world is used to it crashing. It's been happening all year, so it's not really news anymore. I guess if or when it ever changes direction, it will be back in the spotlight |

I agree, bitcoin is one of the worst investments to make in 2014 and start of 2015. I too, are looking into other coins as well. |

I agree, bitcoin is one of the worst investments to make in 2014 and start of 2015. I too, are looking into other coins as well. Not the worst for the start of 2015 , It has only been 3 months , and most of the people who invest into bitcoin do not really invest in it for the short term. The price has actually been increasing, so it has actually been a good investment for 2015. |

Yes, it was one of the worst investments for short term and I think mainly because of mtgox collapse not of bitcoin itself failing - it was clearly overpriced at 1000+ for that moment and investigations confirmed that the price was artificially inflated. 2015 might be different though I was lucky to enter crypto in the second half of the year and I hope and predit BTC will reach 1000$ again but it might take a while... 2014 was also a year full of scams, but people learned the lessons and in 2015 majority of evident ponzi/scams should not bloom like they did just a few months ago... then the trust will rise once again and slowly but surely we will climb back and beyond  |

This is only the beginning of Bitcoin. You cannot say it is a bad investment at today's price. In two years time, you will kick yourself for not investing more. Like some people here who wished they bought more at $30 two years ago.
Exactly just giving you 1 year charts what about how far it has come from pennies? still well in the green. Granted that year there was a lot of unlucky people who invested but that is the game you win some you lose some but the game is still being played so no it is not the worst investment possible, litecoin is lol To add i don't believe that |

This thread was created in December 2014. People who commented here earlier were just angry and sad because bitcoin price was dropping like crazy back then. While it is true that bitcoin price prior December of 2014 was a lot higher than current value of bitcoin. But this year offers new possibilities and price already stabilized itself. Bitcoin is one the best options for investors right now. Stop crying.

BTC is still in its development age and if it suddenly reach price levels of +1000$ you have to be cautious. Only steady and long term price growth could bring us to that limits, that could be a safe base to invest if you expect BTC above 1200$.
